I don’t ever bother to argue with my belly, as it usually has a fairly intuitive idea of where it wants to go to be fed. Thankfully, I was led to try out the new kid on the block in East Brisbane, Raphy’s Espresso. The Café has comfortable outdoor seating using old milk carts, as well as old rustic wooden furniture. I was welcomed with smiles galore. I got a bit excited when I noticed they served the award winning coffee Bellissimo Coffee which i love, so I had to order a long macchiato. They have a simple but perfect little menu to choose from, such as the all day breakfasts from $ 12& under, Salads like the grilled haloumi & asparagus with a macadamia dressing($ 14), juices, sandwiches, muffins and yummy cakes by ‘Le Cake’. I decided to order the good ol’ BRAT Wrap(Bacon, Rocket, Avocado & Tomato. $ 9) as well as the Chocolate caramel fudge brownie(Oh my goodness!). My wrap was so yummy & with a beautiful dressing & the bacon was even a bit crispy too; delicious. I’m looking forward to coming back to try some other delights on the menu! So make sure you check them out next time you’re hungry or need a coffee. Open Monday-Friday 6am — 3pm & Saturday 7am till 12pm.
