My friends and I have been going to this café regularly over the past year but we have now decided to move on. We went every week for their delicious avocado heaven dish. The dish while consistently delicious is consistently different. Last time we went we had maybe 5 cubes of avocado. Another time my friend had glass in her scrambled eggs. Another time we had coffee spilt over our whole group with a pathetic apology. The café is expensive and the service is slow. It doesn’t give you the experience you want as a regular at a local café.

Another boring, overrated café to add to all the rest. Shitty, boring food anyone can cook blindfolded, coffee served in 50c ikea cups, looking and tasting like a robot used Nescafé to make them. Service was boring and slow, and the seating was extremely uncomfortable. No thought given to anything other than the façade of a good café. Wouldn’t recommend.

Waited 40 minutes after ordering before a server came out and told us that the wait might be another 10 minutes. 10 minutes later she came back to say that they did not have the dish that I ordered. At this point she also pointed out a bunch of other items that were unavailable. Had to order a different dish. 15 minutes after that they finally brought out our food. It was average, especially for the price. We had to ask for a discount, nothing was offered upfront and it seemed like the barista had to go ask the owner who appeared to be annoyed by the request. I feel terrible for the staff who work there as they were all pleasant but the overall experience was just awful. Definitely would not return unless to get a takeaway coffee or something.

Not amazing, not awful. Somewhere in the middle. Coffee is ok, food is expensive for the quality but ok if you just need a bite. The staff are generally quite nice and friendly. The interior is actually pretty good, it’s a nice place to catch up with a friend for a coffee… Lots of windows give it a light, breezy feel.

Ordered a takeaway from here and took about 5mins to receive the order. Would have given three stars if:
1. Store was busy, therefore could understand (store was very quiet).
2 Staff had apologised.
Coffee was not bad. Also, if you are a hipster and appreciate indie culture. You will love this place.

A great place that’s not too overly busy. Burgers are a perfect size and is very tasty. Coffee is amazing! Definitely will come back to try the baked eggs.

Well presented venue with a menu which on the one hand is different but at the same time can be confusing.
The fit out is sleek, über hipster cool. Just wish they didn’t try and ram so many seats it as it can be quite cramped
Finally the coffee is okay but I would expect better from little marionette beans
