Where do I start? Poor service. Rude, arrogant, inattentive staff to the point of totally ignoring our table. We waited nearly 10 minutes for first drink order. Waited over 45 minutes for dessert. Staff walked past our table multiple times without bothering to check what we were waiting on. The few times we managed to get someone to stop they were rude to us — as though we were imposing on them by daring to ask a question. Some food was undercooked to the point of being inedible. We were given something we didn’t order and when we questioned it the server was incredibly rude about it. The excuse we got was«sorry we’re really busy». So I guess you should cross your fingers you don’t go there when they have more than a handful of customers. Service is more than just taking orders and delivering food to a table.

this is my favorite restaurant! Love every dish here. Today we tried beef tenderloins, it’s really nice. Ambience is good and food is delicious. Love it

The trendiest place on the Dromana foreshore. They have been expanding since they opened and now feature a great selection of wine and beet which you can purchase to go. The tapas style menu works for them so come with a group and plan to share. The flatbreads are great and the most filling item on the menu. They also make great cocktails and I love the setting, right across from the beach. A great place for a sunset hangout.

As far as really good options on the main Dromana strip goes, you don’t have many. Two Buoys looked like a good option but from driving by, honestly the only thing that attracted us was the big pine tree through the center of the entrance. We had a quick look through the menu and realised it was mainly share plates, spanish tapas with a twist as not everything was so Spanish-es que. Although we thoroughly enjoyed the bbq pork ribs, they didn’t taste very spanishy and the chicken pizza was off the mark as well. We also orded Saganaki and Wedges, I think the only thing was that was actually spanish was my Squid Ink Paella which was actually quite nice but way overpriced. Not sure if I could come here again as I feel they charge too much for their food.

This joint was a great find! Went there twice in a week and all my family loved it. Great selection of tapas, and not all just small plates but some meal sized servings too. Service was professional and the setting is well laid out with an awesome patio out front. Faves included the tomato flatbread, coq au vin, ribs & mussels. Consistent quality in all dishes too, which is sometimes hard to come by on the Mornington Peninsula.
