Pizza holds a special place in my heart and an even more special place in my belly. It has been a rough transition from a country that has a different type of delicious pizza for every state to a country where shredded ham on pizza is perfectly legal and accepted by a large number of the public. Peppercorns, like a shining ray of hope in a dark dismal pizza pit has restored my faith in Australian pizza. Now, I will say that there is some great Italian style pizza in Melbourne and this is not it. This is greasy, cheesy gives you a food baby pizza that will render you unable to move due to fullness for several days afterwards. I am infinity per cent willing to drive the hour that it takes to get to doncaster to get some of this in my belly. I would recommend pepperoni lovers and obviously OBVIOUSLY get Chicago style. Do note, however that it is NOT deep dish, just thicker deep pan crust.
