Sometimes when I see Thai and Chinese massage places, I get a little sceptical, having been to China and Thailand I know the quality and training and qualification in this industry varies greatly and there is a noticeable difference between a professional massage and an amateur one.
Therefore it is a relief to know that Anantara in Dee Why are certified with the Australian traditional medicine society so you know that their massage will not do more harm than good and that it will be a worthwhile experience.
Anatara offer aromatherapy massages, which are supposed to penetrate the skin to the bloodstream and soothe the central nervous system, which is something we all probably need. The environment they provide also adds to the experience it is beautifully set out with Buddhas everywhere and moody lighting.
Their costs are pricy but at least they are good at what they do and their massages leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
