A cute little restaurant that almost looks like a café. The menu is pretty small(but again, their kitchen is pretty small). I chose the hot stone bibimbap lunch set($ 16) that included three sides and soup. The hot stone bibimbap was really good. Love mixing all the ingredients in the sizzling hot stone pot and it tasted delicious! The reasons Im giving this place a three instead of four stars are because the food portion was pretty small for what it cost(I was hungry again an hour later and im not a big eater!). The side dishes(kimchi, pickled radish, potato) were disappointing. I was hoping for some fish cakes :) If you are around this area, definitely try it :)

Location: central and near kings cross. Everything inside was clean and had a lot of style. Liked the setup. Service: nice and friendly. Recommended some things and refilled our water comstantly. Food: very good, with average prices. Try it yourself. Also get the fried dumplings.

3 of us originally wanted to order Kimchi mandoo, bulgogi chop chae and tofu soup. The owner guy straight up told us «if you wanna eat here, you need to order more food» we weren’t that hungry so we wanted to just order rice to share. He said«well, no I can’t serve side order rice. it’s a small restaurant, it will make me happy if u order more food…» So we got pressured into order another«king’s feast BiBimBap» Mandoo tasted alright, slightly better than the frozen ones from Korean supermarket. Chop chae and soup were good. Side Kimchi tasted weird, so we didn’t eat much. BiBimBap tasted the best. But will not return due to his attitude!

Cheap and delicious Korean food. The bowl of bibimbap(rice, meat, vegies, rice, egg) tastes amazing — much better than the sum of its parts. Also serves reasonably priced grog and does BYO. Highly recommended.

Fresh, filling and affordable. Bibim is a casual Korean place to get a good lunch. I had the pork bowl with the side dishes for $ 12. The side dishes weren’t for my palate but I really enjoyed the bowl.

This was my first time eating Korean food & it was love at first taste. I got the Bibim-bap. It had rice, 6 veggies & it came in a hot stone bowl topped with a fried egg. You mix it all together, it also came with a side soup &3 side dishes; Kimchi, poached potatoes in soy sauce & pickled radishes. I was really hungry & ambitious to try new food so I ordered some dried seaweed as well. While waiting for my food I ordered Makgeolli, a traditional Korean alcoholic beverage that farmers drank. It was milky, off white & had a subtle sweetness. I just love the food, it’s fresh & healthy. I highly recommend it!

I alway walking by but alway forget abt this place! One day after a long ass work day I feel like a hot soup n rice! Then I think of this place! A small warm Korean restaurant with outside sitting. I order beef ribs stew, it comes w/e side dishes, and rice! I love it very much n the portion is extremely big. I take left over home for the next day! The ribs are coming with a hot stone pot, the meat are very soft fall out from the bones, sauce or the soup are really tasty with a hit of spicy taste but I will be gone very soon. I’m so going back again! For another food!

Good. Got the chicken bibimbap with a side of kimchi. Not the best I’ve had, but a solid effort.

How come this gem of a place doesn’t have any review?! I have been to Bibim a number of times and a few of those with groups, and they have yet to let me down either with service or food. Every single one of my quests has absolutely loved it here as well, and I would not think twice about recommending this place to anyone. Today I went with a friend on a scorching late afternoon: my friend had kimchi pancake, I ordered beef bibimbap with egg and side dishes, and we ordered a bottle korean beer to share. The waitstaff here are always smiling and attentive. My bibimbap was top notch, so delicious as always, and my friend loved her pancake as well. Thinking of having my birthday party here, as I know everyone will love the food and the overall experience.
