Really good food. I would recommend coming here for some good quality yakitori! We also had gyoza, pork belly skewers, chicken karaage, and spinach with sesame. All of these dishes were really tasty.

It might be because they sat me at the bar facing the chefs, but I couldn’t help staring at them as they perfected each skewer. The one closest to me would catch me once in awhile and smile. I’m expecting the cops to knock on my door with a restraining order at any moment now. Skewers(most $ 2.90/each) are made fresh to order. Cooking raw meat and veg over charcoal can take a little while, but since this place isn’t open for lunch(yet?) that shouldn’t be an issue. Sit back, relax, sip an Asahi Black, and enjoy the flow. That’s what Izakaya’s all about, right? (PS — bookings are recommended. I managed to snag a single stool on a solo night, but they turned away a couple of tables after me)
