This quirky little café is hidden down Old Theatre Lane, away from the main hustle and bustle of Claremont. It’s a great place to relax.
This was my second visit, having been impressed after stumbling across it a few weeks ago. The covered outdoor seating area is popular, but since it was 36C I preferred to sit in air conditioned comfort inside.
Both times I have been here on a Friday lunchtime. The small café has typically been reasonably busy though I have always been able to find a seat inside.
I ordered an Ice coffee ($ 7) with avo smash ($ 16.50) blackboard special. My drink came out quickly, and my meal came out a short while later. The flavours were exquisite — very refreshing and hitting the spot nicely as I wanted something light. Will definitely be back again!
