I stumbled upon Bouche while at Chadstone and was looking for a non-food court but still fast and cheap-ish lunch option… I probably should have gone to the food court after-all. The service at Bouchee was painfully slow and not very friendly. It took about 40min for our meals to arrive(a cold pre-made sandwich and a Egg Benedict). So all plans for a quick lunch followed by shopping was ruined by a meal that took longer than an hour. Note to staff if you require customers to pay at the counter, perhaps you should tell them that rather then have them waiting credit card out to pay:) As for the meal itself, the chicken sandwich was rather sad, with brownish looking avocado and very mayo heavy chicken. My dining partner’s eggs though hit the spot. I also had a tasty juice and honey frozen mocktail which was refreshing on a typically hot Melbourne summer day. That said, surely there have to be better dining options at the massive Chadstone mall

This café is located in one of the walkways of Chadstone Shopping Centre closest to Myer and David Jones. Whenever our team needs a coffee break or a morning kick we head hear as the barristers make the best coffee in the centre. A little slow with their service as they are often understaffed and every staff member looks like they are doing 10 things at once but well worth the weight. I’ve also had brunch here a couple of times with friends whilst shopping and I recommend Salmon Benedict.
