Westpac

I’m not a particular fan of Westpac in general, although this specific branch is rather nice.
But let’s focus on why I’m not a huge fan of Westpac:
~ Their online banking system is muddled and confusing.
~ They mailed me my debit card… then the PIN 2 weeks later. This makes absolutely 0 sense.
~ The PIN was impossible to figure out. They mailed it in some special form where you had to tear off a sticky delicately. I ended up just accidentally tearing the whole sticker off and lost the PIN — had to go on an entire trip to the bank to get it changed.
Westpac is just filled with all these tiny inconveniences and problems. You’re probably better off choosing another bank!

However, this particular branch was nice. The woman who worked with me was very kind and helpful with opening my account and she explained everything that was going on clearly. All the other employees there seemed to be respectful and courteous as well.
