Lunch on the move today, pepper pie and a apple slice. Busy shop and I know why now. Awesome selection in here, and priced well, with quality to match.

I popped in to buy something on the way to a friend’s place this morning because I didn’t get organised to bake something myself. Well, I don’t think I’ll be baking again… ever.
Looking for morning tea to take to work or something for your Nan when she comes for afternoon tea? Look no further than this unassuming bakery in Carlisle for its ‘goods’: croissants, lamingtons, jam donuts, sausage rolls and pies, large quiches, plus a range of rolls for lunches. Freshly baked. Quickly eaten.
You can always tell a bakery does good lunches to take away, when you see the tradies’ utes parked outside and the blokes in their blundies lining up inside. I say listen to the tradies, folks. They know their stuff.
My tip: one of the best vanilla slices in Perth. Hands down.
