One of the only places I’ve found where I can get an Acai smoothie that also comes with a very warm welcome and great service from the staff. We recently held a small morning meeting here and we felt extremely welcome. After coffee, we lingered a while with out feeling rushed. Although they got busy serving plenty of dancers form the studio next door, we still got lots of attention and enjoyed the pleasant, cozy & down to earth atmosphere. The only issue can be with parking. Depending on the time of day as it is only 30 mins on the street.

A very nice and cosy little Café that’s hidden in the suburb. Prices are not cheap considering what they’re serving, but the food do taste delicious. Try their Croque Madame toasted sandwich — one of my favourite.

Foodrinkery is a lovely little place tucked away in Wattle Park, and conveniently placed to a number of the nearby schools, perfect for before and after school drop-​offs. It is also situated next to a park, making it the perfect place to take kids, and it’s design and fit out certainly reflects that. Coffee is served by Campos, which the long black I had was pretty good. Food wise, the Apple Crumble muffin was something definitely to be tried out by all! A limited menu with reasonably priced options is also available for those keen for a quick and easy meal too.

I would have given them 2 stars if it had not been for the generous cake they offered us as a condolence for the 40 minute wait for our meals, then forgetting the children’s orders. There was no mention of the delay before we ordered. The waiter was hard to understand also.
On a positive note the food was really nice, the staff were friendly and the place was really cute looking.

This is just about the perfect family breakfast place in the burbs. The staff are friendly, and there is this fantastic outdoor area at the back overlooking a playground. So when the kids get bored, send them off to play and enjoy your smashed avocado with ricotta in peace.

Great food focused café in the eastern suburbs. Both the Croque madame and the Portobello mushrooms came with very fresh bread. The ham in the madame was well chosen. Coffee was nice, service was attentive.

A small little brunch spot in Burwood hidden away from the busy streets. Lovely staff and great food. Perfect for a small get together of good friends even with bad weather.
