My inner smug trolley radar was off the charts walking into The Source. Quinoa pasta? Natural Yeast Flakes? Pour your own apple cider vinegar into your pinterest-​worthy mason jar? Yeah, The Source has that and more.
Look past the plastic bulk bins to their contents. Rows of virtuous and healthy ingredients ready for stocking your kitchen pantry. Prices are by the kilo and you are welcomed to bring your own vessels to purchase products. As Jad A mentioned, there’s a great range of paleo museli and a variety of flours for those who are looking to bake allergy-​free.
And perhaps best of all? The friendly faces of the staff and the store owner, Fiona, that greet you as you enter. Any questions? They’re all over it and will lend a hand.

«The biggest specialised bulk foods retailer in Australia» has finally arrived in Oxford Street Bulimba. I had heard so many good things about this place from friends, & was so happy to finally visit there today. When I walked into the store I was amazed at how much choice they had. The staff are super friendly & are happy to help. They have a huge range of organic & non organic nuts, seeds, cereals (including paleo mixes) dried friut, confectionary, superfoods, rice, flour, pasta, herbs & spices aswell as organic olive oils, honey, apple cider vinegar & natural household section. The best thing they also have is a section where you can make your own peanut, macadamia or almond butter with no nasties! Wow. This is definitely a place everyone will love. They encourage you to bring in your own bags, bottles or containers to fill up as they’re a plastic bag free store! I’m officially nuts for this store. :-)
