Causal atmosphere, nice staff, great food, well priced. We went later in the evening so it was easy to get a table but we will be back for happy hour soon. The lychee cider was a nice surprise and the sake bomb was a good drink to have with the dinner. We came specially for okonomiaki and it did not disappoint. The free edamame appetizer is a nice detail. We will definitively be back, it is the type of laid back restaurant with good food that we like!

Absolutely amazing place. Décor is traditional japanese, low table and all. Service is outstanding and prompt and very polite.
Food is perfect, king prawns melt in your mouth.
Prefect for date night as seating is very intimate and atmosphere very relaxed, Cocktails are rather good too.
Will definitely be coming back.

OK it’s Saturday evening on Sydney Road and you’re in the mood for trying a new place to eat. Well, if this happens to you get yourself here. Food is amazing (even the wife is convinced of the merits of Japanese food).
Great atmosphere, lively, even happy hour Sake and beer if you happen to roll in at 6−7pm.
This place is definitely a new fav. Do yourself a favour and sample the various starters and skewers (as we did); shame we were too full to have a second main as they sounded great.
Food heaven. Why haven’t I tried this place before?!

A cute little Japanese place with lovely staff and a cozy yet lively atmosphere. Plenty of options for both vegans and vegetarians that are clearly outlined in the menu. While we enjoyed it all, I’d like to give a special warning that the vege style pancake (cabbage, cheese and egg) is far heavier with sauce than I expected. I would recommend sticking to the tempura and the sushi to really enjoy the menu.
