Zenbar is great for Friday night drinks being perfectly positioned between work and Central station :-) I’ve never stayed long enough to try the food but it’s a nice pit stop on the way home.

I really do try to like Zenbar, the people from the city, the posh upmarket look, the asian fusion at its best, well, the best you can be when you decide to fusion your asian, if that makes sense. This is what I recommend you order when you go here: duck wraps with cucumber, shallots, $ 18.50 hoisin sauce & chinese pancake to roll your own zen combo fried rice, with chicken, bbq pork, $ 23.5 beef, prawns, omelette & vegetables add caramelised pork belly $ 4.5 zen affogato, a scoop of honeycomb ice cream $ 8.5 served with a shot of espresso That’s what I get… and although it will add up to a million dollars, it’s worth it every now and then. The ingredients are always fresh, but what lets this place down are the staff. The staff can be callous, rude and let people in that were behind you in the line if you don’t book. Sometimes they seat you down on a dirty table before cleaning it first and if you order anything else on the menu, it may bite you in the bum later.
