Stayed at the adjoining Mantra Midtown for our anniversary weekend. We had breakfast at 127 and I had the most delicious Eggs Benedict and Mocha for breakfast. Great décor and very friendly staff. Will defs go back.

Went here for a friend’s 18th and left disappointed. The biggest issue was how unorganized the menu was. At least two of the menus handed out were missing pages. The ‘All day’ menu was not included. Due to this lack of a clear menu, many of our orders were mixed up. Many dishes came extremely late, for example, a bowl of ‘chunky fries’ accompanying a streak arrived after the steak was well gone. The food itself was delicious. Nothing wrong except for an insane amount of salt on the late fries. Despite all these ordering issues, the staff remained polite however a more empathetic interaction would have lifted my moods.

Tricky, but found it. It’s not really at 127 Charlotte. Seems to be sandwiched between 140 and 160. Anyhoo, it’s worth it. The Salmon, cooked to perfection. Wine list, short but classy. Vas Felix Chardonnay, great accompaniment to the Salmon. Vanilla Pana Cotta, awesome. Delicious medium sized flan of yummy stuff. The lack of clientele suggests I’m not the only one finding this place hard to find.

Head Chef Travis Crane is one of the most imaginative new chefs in Brisbane. I’ve been to 127 Bat and Bistro a dozen times and have been amazed by the creativity and quality of the food each time. When you talk about secret treasures and undiscovered geniuses, then 127 and Travis must be considered. Do yourself a favour and get in to check it out
