It’s good cheap food but, when you order a sizzling plate, it needs to be sizzling.
The meat was slightly over cooked so, they clearly have them just sitting out the back waiting.
The green curry hits the spot and they have an interesting selection of deserts.

This small restaurant has been serving up the best Thai food in the area for years now.
Every time we eat here, it’s hard to choose what to have, as everything always impresses. The staff are absolutely charming, and remember you even if you haven’t been in for a year.
Great for groups, (book ahead) and accommodating parties of up to 15 or 20 easily despite the size of the place, they manage to keep the orders arrival at the table pretty in sync. You can BYO wine, or purchase your drinks from the fridge. There is a small selection of beer available by the bottle.
We tend to go for the Green or Red Curry, and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Big enough to share if you add rice and bread, it allows you to also test the entrees, also of a very high standard.
If this place was in the city I could guarantee it’d be flat chat every night, and given its location and competition from other Thai and Indian restaurants, it still manages to be quite busy every night of the week.
