Katzy’s Food Factory

When I was in Australia a few summers back I ate here and to be honest, I never had food this good, even in New York. The ribs are like a taste of heaven on a plate, and the burgers were just as good. Unfortunately I didn’t get to eat much else before I left. Although I heard the original owner moved to New York and opened a restaurant here, so I’m dying to know where that is.

If you only eat kosher and you live in Sydney alas there’s not much choice… but if you are craving a meat meal, I can strong recommend Katzy’s.
This corner restaurant has the feeling of a New York Deli, the décor makes you feel like you’re in Manhattan.
Being a meat restaurant expect to find meat on the menu — Beef Ribs, Kebabs, Burgers, Boerewors and Hot Dogs. Yes, of course there are other things, but if you’re kosher or psuedo– Kosher I’m going to assume you’re there for the protein kick. If you’re not sure what to get, the beef burger keeps coming up as the meal of choice…
Insiders tip — if given the choice between salad or chips — go the salad and pick the poppyseed dressing — it’s scrumptious.
Prices range between $ 10 — $ 20. A fun place to visit with good food and atmosphere.
