Used to be good. New owners have over priced food and very average quality. Hamburger with the lot, pattie was full of thyme, little bit of onion, little lettuce, tiny ring of pineapple and one piece of tomato that was 2 mm thick for $ 8.60 = tightarse owners. Chips are good but avoid a burger or steak sandwich.

Botanic chicken appears to have sneakily changed hands… There are definitely different faces behind the counter, which has coincided with a slight increase in prices(minimum chips are now $ 4 rather than $ 3.50). The important thing is that their finger lickin’ chips have remained just has crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and chicken-salty as they were before. I’d recommend swinging by and picking up their new menu — with a couple of good new additions, and the excellent option of adding two salads to your butterfish & chips pack for only $ 1.50.

Been here many times. Brilliant chicken, yiros, seafood and chips. If you want the best classic Aussie fish, chicken and chips shop you won’t find a better one in the area.

Best chips in Adelaide and have been since I was a kid. There always really busy so maybe ring in advance. We travel 45 minutes round trip to get chicken and chips from here even though we have 3 other shops within a 5 minute walk from our house.
