Bakers’ Delight is a chain bakery that sells similar pastries and breads at each location. Though I’d rather support a local non-​franchise bakery any day, if you’re shopping at Melville Plaza, this is a pretty great place to get bread. They can slice it into whatever thickness you want and you can get it in all kinds of shapes, textures and varieties. I’m a fan of the «cheesymite scrolls» they make here; they used to make these in my high school canteen and I used to dig ‘em. There’s not a lot of other great snack foods here though and, bizarrely, they don’t have a microwave to heat up their small cheesy bread pastries. The bread is good though, and worth stopping by for.
