Had breakfast here, was very happy with the meal. I had eggs benedict with pulled pork, eggs were cooked to perfection. Had a latte, bit strong to my liking, could have been more milky & cooler, was a bit too hot for a latte. But definitely not complaining. Service was good. Will return to try lunch menu in the future. Recommend to visit. Have had family & friends recommend also.

What an amazing location for brunch! Where do I even begin! The atmosphere here is amazing. With a gorgeous rustic veranda and stylish décor, surrounded by big leafy gum trees, this place just makes you instantly feel good as soon as you walk in. The staff will seat you and offer you water as soon as you arrive and they are so friendly and positive that you can’t help but smile. The menus are so extensive that they have you covered for any style of breakfast, sweet or savoury. The coffees are marvellous so they must use top notch beans! I was very impressed by the food. I ordered the avocado and feta with a side of Swiss mushrooms and loved every tasty bite. The flavours were wonderful and it was the perfect serving size! Hawkes and Crosby is the ideal location for a relaxing weekday catch up with friends or a romantic weekend brunch because it just gives you good vibes. Very excited to pop back in for their late night tapas, which is starting up soon!

The avocado and feta on rye was disappointing. It was a very small serve, with a small crumble of feta and the toast was burnt. Also, we were seated on the western side verandah and as a result were sitting in the hot sun by 2pm.

What a wonderful breakfast place! The eggs benedict were done to perfection — even the request to have the poached eggs medium(don’t like wobbly whites!) was accommodated pleasantly and the kitchen it the mark exactly! The sourdough bread on which the eggs are perched is soooo good: closest to San Fransisco I’ve found in Australia! Chewy crust with tasty & dense interior= YUM! The in-house cured trout was delicate and delightful. The hollandaise sauce has a nice touch of Dijon mustard that suits the dish perfectly. All in all one of the best eggs benny I’ve had anywhere! Partner’s granola was topped with lemon sorbet — what a clever and tasty combo, especially with the weather warming up. The granola was demolished with nary a stop to breathe! The coffees were perfection with a smooth but strong coffee. Nailed it! We will be back — often!
