What a way to celebrate my 5th anniversary with my boyfriend! To be honest, I was a little worried that I might be disappointed as my previous hot air balloon experience was in Dubai (exotic location!) but I was wrong!
The booking process online was quick and easy, no hassle at all. On the morning itself, we gathered at the Sebel resort with the pilot and other «passengers». After completing the disclaimer form, the pilot briefed us on the safety rules and we headed off to the «launch site» (5 – 10 mins drive from the hotel). It did take a while for the pilot and two other «co-​pilots» to set up the hot air balloon but it was an enjoyment to watch the process.
The ride itself was spectacular, the scenery was absolutely beautiful and the pilot was quite funny — making jokes and telling us stories.
I would highly recommend it !
