Had an amazing fish from here and best fish & chips takeaway. When we ordered some dishes the chef came out and explained how it was made, thought it was a nice touch to engage with customers especially educating sustainable fishing. We didn’t mind paying more for it. But I don’t think I can afford to go there weekly.

Great place nice simple menu, with great quality produce. And the wine list though small is perfect. Oh and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Sustainable fish, cooked beautifully in a relaxed environment. Kid friendly, great staff and a menu that changes frequently enough to be interesting, but not so often that you don’t get a chance to fall in love with a few things. Our favourite fish restaurant in Sydney.

This is the 3rd dinner at Fish & Co. in the last 2 months! Fish curry is to die for! Tasty, very creamy with a hidden bite that gets you sweating by the end. Just as well the desserts are fabulous & service is very friendly & efficient. Very busy on Friday & Saturday nights.

Dubbed«the sustainable seafood café», Fish & Co is probably the first restaurant I’ve come across that focuses exclusively on fish. Not seafood in general, but just fish. But after tasting, I soon realized why this was so. To put it simply, the wish was awesome. It was easily one of the best fish meals I’ve ever had. The diverse and dynamic menu has a delectable variety of ever changing fish meals to chose from, with a gourmet take on beer battered fish and chips for the kids. Another unique feature of the restaurant is its focus on sustainability. All the fish on offer are thoughtfully chosen species that are in abundance(often from fishermen overlooking them) and are caught sustainably and responsably. And they won’t let you forget it. But that’s a good thing, because it’s just so interesting. Take my word for it. The friendly staff are also well versed in whats on offer and are more than happy to help you choose. The waitress even adjusted the awning-mounted heater for us on a cold night. Everything about this restaurant just feels so thoughtful. Every nuance has been specifically chosen and every meal is delicious.

The First time I went this was amazing, the second pretty damn good too. However the last time I went I hated the experience so much I swore never to go back, the food and service were all awful, but maybe I caught them on a bad day because other people are reviewing it pretty well. I’ll give them another chance soon, that first visit was great.

Good food, good service but very loud when its crowded. They could do with some sound absorbing material around the place but its quite small already. Using fish that are not on the endangered list is a good add. I’ll choose summer to eat here, as the outside area is much quieter, even with buses going by.

Generally, I reserve eating fish for the summer months, when the best catches are in and I’m craving a light and simple meal. Well, it was chilly and rainy as it has been the past couple of weeks, and it was quite anomalous that I was in the mood for seafood. So, I drove to Annandale with a couple of friends to try out Fish and Co., a restaurant with a solid reputation and close proximity to my apartment. All I have to say is that it was absolutely sublime. It was Friday night around 8pm and most of the tables were full. The dining area has a warm glow from the lights above, draped with delicate cloth(which looked a bit like Jellyfish). Solid wooden tables give a rustic feel with a simplicity that is all but comforting. Service was genuinely friendly, on point, and helpful. Our waitress suggested the fish of the day, a lovely Coorong Yellow Eye from South Australia. Everyone at the table decided to get it, as none of us had ever heard of this species. For a side, I chose the zucchini and snap peas, delicately stir-fried with mint and chili. My, my. I was blown away by the freshness of the fish, grilled to excellence, and the perfectly matched brightness of the zucchini. My appetite was without a doubt appeased, and I spent only $ 26. You must go to Fish and Co., which prides itself in being a sustainable fish restaurant. I’m going back tomorrow to try the beer-battered fish and chips.
