I heard about this place because a friend of mine, temporarily unemployed, spent many days here using the free wifi. The staff found out about his predicament and in turn offered him free food and drink. He then brought a group of us in to have breakfast, which was delicious and well-priced. The kindness of the staff matched what we had been told. I then came back for lunch with my girlfriend. The manager(blonde lady) remembered me and was very kind in preparing things for us, particularly with regard to diet restrictions. We had some very tasty meals(pulled pork lepinja, really a burger, and a salad) and smoothies. I recommend this place, especially because of the courtesy shown to all of us. Kindness deserves its reward.

Great little café, lots of fresh quality produce. One day of my favourite lunch spots in Adelaide CBD. Service is exceptional, when I am rushed and there is a queue the lady offers to rush my order. Although I generally love to sit down and enjoy my lunch, which comes pretty quickly anyway. My favourites: frittata or the corn fritters.

This is the first place that I have been able to get a check-in reward and it was an awesome feeling. The owner Natasha was wonderfully friendly and I was keen to bookmark it to review later and I came across my reward. She was happy to give me my free coffee with my minestrone soup and I was loving it. The soup was delicious and a very generous size with an extra 2 slices of yummy bread. They have Ducale Coffee with Bonsoy & Biodynamic Dairy. We had a slice of orange & almond cake to go and that too was delicious and an extremely generous size. They cater to all dietary requirements. In fact that was the first thing she asked us when we walked in, which was nice. I enjoyed hearing Natasha’s story of how she took over the café recently after being retrenched from a long term career. She says that she«loves to feed people.» and that’s awesome, because I love to eat good food. Check it out if you’re in the area. and get your Unilocal check in reward!

Decided to check out what’s new on Gawler Place for lunch a couple of weeks bac and was deciding between this and Polish Dumplings! The thought of breakfast food became more appealing as I have been craving for it for awhile now. I was looking through the choices and decided on DIY Omelette with the lot! I thought I was super hungry. but the portion was huge and the fillings were generous. I was indeed a happy full customer after the meal. :) Within the lot, there were things such as Bacon which I don’t particularly like but I didn’t ask if I could exclude it, possibly could. The service was quick considering the lunch time crowd, all in all, I would definitely come by again!

«Best lunch on Gawler Place!» Those were the words that came out of my friend’s mouth as she tucked into a BLT. Was it the roasted Roma tomatoes covered in aioli or was it the toasty Turkish bread breaking her no-carb drought? Either way, she proclaimed it to be delicious! I chose the corn and zucchini fritters with smoked salmon and guacamole. Yummy! Personal dislike for raw onion(even very finely diced red onion) in my guacamole, but I realise I’m a bit weird. This new incarnation of GLOW(which was good for some time), this place aims to fill it left when it went bad. Yes, it’s a bit more upmarket than next door’s sushi in the city. Yes it’s pricier than some places, but it is delicious! Don’t forget to see Barista Justin for some awesome coffee!
