My boyfriend, who grew up in Argentina, has been telling me about this restaurant since the day we met in college in Chicago. He swore it had the best steak in the entire world. We finally came down to Tucumán for a visit and this was our first dinner out. I was not disappointed. The steaks were literally bigger than the plates they served them on.
I ordered a «simple» salad, which turned out to be the salad bar (five different types of lettuce, fresh veggies, etc.), then the Churrasco fillet. It was a different cut of steak than I expected, but really delicious. I could have sworn there were a dozen different spices– and it turned out they only used salt! Steak is just next level in Argentina. We washed our steaks down with a pitcher of delightful house made lemonade.
Also, the exchange rate is beautiful. We paid less than 400 pesos for our meal (at the current exchange rate, about $ 40). Try buying a 5-​star steak dinner for that in the States!

A good place for lunch and dinner. The food is tasty, the place is nicely decorated. Recommended.
