Its a good place to hang out, great food… their poseidon platter… DROOL… cost so much 18 €. but worth every penny!

Waren gestern mal wieder beim «Griechen» in Velburg.Früher waren wir eigentlich immer zufrieden, aber gestern hatten wir den Eindruck, dass sowohl die Qualität als auch die Quantität nachgelassen hat. Ich hatte einen Bauernsalat und ein Fladenbrot. Der Salat war gut, aber für den Preis reichlich wenig
Das Fladenbrot war ein Fertigprodukt und sehr fettig. Der Tintenfisch war gut, aber auch da waren die Portionen früher reichlicher.
Der Besitzer könnte auch etwas verbindlicher sein — aber das ist nichts Neues.

Since I live in Hohenfels Germany this is a great nearby restaurant with even better outdoor seating. I love Greek food but they make the best calamari I have ever tasted so I usually end up getting that. The lamb is to die for, it literally fell off the bones and was full of so many amazing delicious flavors. They are American friendly and treat us very well there. Of course you can’t wrong with the local Hefe Weisen and the price is great for the large portions they serve. If ever in the Velburg are and want great Greek food this is a travelers must!

Gutes, grosses, griechisches Lokal mit den üblichen griechischen Speisen. Es gibt auch Pizzen.
