I received a voucher for a Valentine’s Day dinner at the Marriot. We’ve heard pretty good things about the steakhouse, so imagine our disappointment when we waited over 50 min for our main course to arrive. We received our appetizer roughly 10 min after sitting down.
Main course was just a 200g steak filet with a baked potato and some green beans. We didn’t even get a reason why our meal was late, just a couple of glances and «it’ll be out real soon». We received our meal (finally) and it was pretty much still breathing. We asked for medium. I had several bites before I couldn’t take anymore, so did my boyfriend.
Our waitress was at least kind enough to put it back on the grill, but already waiting almost an hour, I didn’t want to wait any longer. so we just didn’t finish it.
It gets two stars because our water was free after waiting for so long and parking was free in the garage, also. Otherwise, I wouldn’t go back.

Something can be said for wanting to eat food that reminds you of home when you’re halfway around the world. It doesn’t get much more American than a steakhouse. This place definitely has the look of one and certainly the prices to match. The service was good as well, but the food just wasn’t to the caliber of what you would expect back home. It was really our only option for a late meal and it left us sated, but missing something. The place was packed though and seemed like a lot of business type functions.

Steaks are pretty good according to a colleague. But OMG the Cheesecake. You need to get this. You may have to ask specifically for it cold, because the second time I ordered it it was brought out hot, which was quite interesting. Still tasted amazing though. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, make good recommendations, and generally run a tight shop. If it weren’t for trying to be adventurous with local food, I could eat here every day during my stay and not be disappointed.

Herausragender Service, sehr aufmerksam!
Das Auge isst mit: Das Steak war nicht nur geschmacklich ein Gedicht, es wurde auch stilvoll angerichtet. Genauso auch die Beilagen, ein echter Gaumenschmaus und seinen Preis wert.
