My husband and I really enjoyed Maxi’s! The restaurant has been remodeled recently and I liked the décor. The menu is in German and English which I always appreciate! The waitress was very sweet and took are of us without being hovering. It took awhile for our food to come out but it was worth it because it was fresh and hot. I loved the food! We had the goat cheese starter which was delicious! My husband had the jäger schnitzel with fries which he really loved! I had the salmon with pasta which was very good. The pasta needed seasoning but luckily there was salt and pepper on the table. I gave Maxi’s 4 stars because I wish the portion had been smaller and the seasoning would have been better. I will definitely go back again!

Very poor service. We were almost done eating our dinner before my husband’s meal came out. After our initial drinks she never came back to refill our drinks our check on us at all. Clean and from what I hear renovated but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Pricey and poor service. Better off with a fast food eating establishment.

Service was horribly slow and the atmosphere set by the server /hostess was poor. We never got a refill on any drinks – and they were just water. Food was bland. My pasta(not in red sauce and NOT advertised as such) came 10 minutes after my family’s meal. NOT a good impression of Germany. I left my meal on the table and my family only ate a bit of their schnitzel. My kids absolutely refuse to ever eat schnitzel again because of this place. Avoid. Find somewhere else – like one of the restaurants(MG) on Ramstein AB.

This was our first visit to Maxi. The restaurant’s been recently renovated so the interior is pretty modern; not the typical German ambiance of wood. Service was a bit harried as we were with a very large party so the delays were understandable. I had a rahm schnitzel which was excellent. My wife had the ranger salat with sirloin strips that were very tasty and tender. It’s good to know there’s finally a good Germany restaurant in Ramstein again.

Atmosphere is a little boring, but the food is the BOMB. Zigeunerschnitzel is great!
