I eat here every week, sometimes twice a week. I like the close location to base and the food is always excellent. Small but comfy and the hours are amazing compared to most places in germany.

The food here is excellent, but sadly, the service has ruins the experience. We waited for our food for almost 90 minutes, while we watched other guests who had arrived after us get their food. Don’t let people tell you that’s just the«culture» in this area… there are plenty of other places to eat that operate within reason. The restaurant had only one server running orders for all the tables, and I think he was too young to really understand how to get the orders in correctly. Too bad the management here can’t get their act together. Really a disappointment that ruined our dinner.

We tried out this place this week for the first time and I was very happy with the experience. Ambience: The interior is modern, with new furniture and dishwear. I was very impressed with how they made the area function with such little space. Menu: English and German! You write down the number of the item you want on a piece of paper, so no issues with translation. There were almost too many options. We tried a little bit of everything. I also ordered a beer, which was cold and refreshing. Sushi: The salmon was fatty and perfect. The Ebi was good, as was the tuna. We also received some less-than-fresh sashimi but overall I was happy with the quality and the price. It rivaled Ayame in my mind, but was less expensive. Thai: We ordered Thai Hot, but the spice was still lacking. The curry was delicious, though and my husband enjoyed his coconut soup. Price: You are paying Landstuhl prices here, which is a little higher as they cater to Americans. On average, this meal was about 40% more than what we spend downtown. However, the experience was still great.

It is getting 5 stars because we are in Germany and this by far is legit Thai food and even more legit for it being out here… I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and it was great. need to ask if they can make it hotter… the pad si wuh was great… and springs rolls were good Gonna try the deep fried tilapia and maybe the fried duck

Good authentic Thai good. The service is not the same each time. Sometimes its good other times its not. The thing that is consistent is the great taste of the food. The place has outgrown itself and is very small.

My husband and I came here for dinner a few times and we really like this place. The food is consistent because there is one main chef and you can view her cooking through the big window. The menu selection is HUGE! They offer so many dishes and sushi options you can’t go wrong. For the appetizer we like the spring rolls, chicken satay, and barbecued steak. I also like their coconut soup, papaya salad, and beef salad. My husband always gets the red curry with duck or the pork belly with an order of fried rice. This place gets very busy and they have maybe 10 tables. So if you have a big party I suggest reservations

The food is great. However, know what you want ahead of time. It’s a seat yourself type of restaurant, so it is somewhat chaotic. From what I’ve observed there’s no good order of precedence of who is served first. With this said, have a good idea of what you want to order. If they do come do get your order and you aren’t ready, you’ll wait. I know, I waited with a friend for 15 – 20 minutes. The dining area is loud in both spots so plan on hearing«clear» conversations going on. Otherwise the food is great. The staff although nice, seem scattered brained. Don’t be in a rush when you come here to eat.

Yes, their ordering style is a bit different, but I come here for the food! The service is European style(as it should be) — flag them down if you want something, and most servers speak English. The food has always been fresh, hot, and not too heavy on the fish oil(thank God!). When it comes to the main dishes that are not rice or noodle based, I do think it’s a little overpriced for the portion size.

Went here last night for a late dinner. I had pad Thai with vegetables and tofu and vegetable spring rolls. Everything was cooked to the order and came out pipping hot. The service was not the friendliest, however. We had to wait a long time to place our order and at the end of the meal, had to request the check 3 times before we succeeded in paying. I know I’m in Europe and I am animal lover, but there was a massive dog taking up much of the floor space in this tiny restaurant. He was much too large for the small space and it seemed as if his tail was in everyone’s plate.

My favorite place! Food is great. I’m there often and the food is consistently fantastic. No refills but just get a big bottle of water. No A. C so plan for that but it only matters when it’s hot. Food is made fresh and you can watch them make it through the huge window. Recommendations. 1, 3, 132, 150 ’ s and the whole fish. You’ll get the numbers when you get there!

Ok so I have gone to this place about 3 times now and over all it amazes. The only downfall is that here in Germany A/C isn’t a common thing. So needless to say we were sweating our you know what’s off! You also don’t get free drink refills :/(another common European thing) so that was a total bummer for 3 pregnant over thirsty ladies. But on to the good stuff! I finally tried the Green Chicken Curry! And OH.MY.GAWD was it amazing! It was spicy deliciousness with just the right amount of sweetness. I’m usually a red curry or pad Thai kind of girl but I definitely think I have a new favorite. Now the service this last time wasn’t that great. But I’ll chalk it up to being a VERY busy day. It was hot we were thirsty and it took them almost 30min just to take our order. But if you can look past those things you definitely won’t regret it :)

This is my favorite Thai food restaurant in the area. The only downfall is that it is very mall. They have recently added an additional seating area but still no more than 10 tables. They do do take out so if there isn’t room just take it with you.

Stopped in on a Friday night just before the dinner rush. Got seated right away and got our drinks. Food was good, not great. Nice big menu for a small restaurant. An hour later we still had not been served and the two waiters seemed to be avoiding us. We complained and started to relieve our order broken up across the next half hour. Their problem seemed to be prioritizing take-out orders over seated patrons orders. Bottom line: bad experience. No food is worth service like that. Not even a «sorry» for the delay.

Alom Dee is the best Thai place in the KMC. With that, you can see the cooks using fresh ingredients which is a plus for me. Although I’m a spice fanatic and the dishes could be hotter, it is my go to place for great fare.

Beast Thai in town took my family from France there; was a busy night only down fall is they have one person cooking for the entire restaurant but the food is worth the wait trust me. Great location too.

This is one of my go-to Landstuhl eateries. The restaurant is super small and somewhat out of the way, but not at all hard to get to and totally worth the time. It’s also totally walkable from anywhere in the Landstuhl area. The food here is on point. I am super addicted to their curries, particularly the Massaman and the Panang. Last time I got the Panang, it was a little too hot for me, with about a cup of those super spicy peppers in my serving, but was still amazing. The Massaman is a little more mild and really delish. Their Pad Thai is on point, with plenty of noodles and veggies, as well as whatever protein you care to add. I recommend avoiding the tofu chunks. Personally, I find them to be water-logged and not worth the valuable room in your stomach… fill up on the noodles. The coconut soup is awesome, especially with the(ultra intimidating) fruits of the sea. I don’t like the terminology, but I love the outcome: mussels, squid, shrimp, all in a tasty, spicy broth. I don’t recommend the sushi, all the pieces I’ve had there have been rather lackluster, dare I say, bad. Overall, worth the walk, worth the money and worth the calories.

So the food gets 5 stars. They add scallops and mussels to their seafood pad thai and it is crazy delicious. The menu is pretty long and is in german and english(yay!!). The service is so-so. We ordered and waited around for half an hour before the server came back and asked if we ordered(uh-oh that’s not a good sign). So it took over an hour for our food to come out but it was yummy so it made up for having to wait so long. Oh and the place is tiny!!! Like super tiny. Like there’s-only-6-tables-and-they-are-a-foot-apart kind of tiny.

Very good Thai food. Really, 3.5 stars. Some items are quite hot; too much so for my likes but that’s a personal dislike. The food is tasty although many dishes have fish sauce as an integral flavoring, which I dislike(again, a personal thing). The meals are a bit smaller than other Thai places but still more than adequate for lunch. Alom Dee could expand as the interior has very limited seating/tables so some potential customers simply leave due to the wait time. I do like the food taste/quality here but it’s not my favorite Thai place near Ramstein.

Best Thai food in the RAB area. Small floor plan, but I always order to go and it’s ready within 10 minutes. Location on Unilocal map is incorrect by a block. It’s across from Mcdonalds, not down the road.

Best thai in town hands down. Great service and worth the extra price. Spicy coconut soup is always incredible. I’ve tried their sushi once and wasn’t impressed, stick to the thai dishes. Everything I’ve had is great, but I love the duck pad thai and the curry dishes.
