Living in Nuremberg south city I have learned that you can really get any kind of food from any kind of culture.
Greek cuisine is not excluded to this thankfully, and Dimitra 1 is a very good place to go for both of its flavour, appearance and friendly waiting staff. The inclusion of outdoor seating is covered by an awning which is great.
I visited Dimitra 1 on a Friday evening without reservation at around 19:00. The place wasn’t too full and outdoor seating was available.
I ordered the Giros Calamaris which also came with 1 shot glass of Ouzo, a appetiser salad and a small desert. I ordered a side of Tzatziki as well since my meal did not include any. The meal was very good! All of it was served hot and delicious. The Giros boasted with great taste and weren’t over-​seasoned while the Calamaris were just as good as the Giros, not being gummy and having a great taste. The plate included a lemon which I of course used on my food but it is not required.
The appetiser salad has a wide assortment of vegetables and feta cheese. The salad is covered lightly with a Vinegar-​oil dressing. The desert is some sort of vanilla pudding with a caramel sauce.
All in all it all tasted delicious and I was wasn’t over stuffed but I felt good for the rest of the evening!
If you are travelling with a female guest to this restaurant and she would like Ouzo as well I highly suggest mentioning that during your order because female guests get a apéritif instead of Ouzo. So just mention instead of the apéritif, Ouzo please. You get the Ouzo before the meal.
This restaurant has multiple menu options as well so you will most likely find something you like! The prices aren’t high and the food makes it justified.

Innenarchitektonisch merkt man dem Lokal seine erfolgreiche, über 30 Jahre lange, Geschichte ein wenig an, aber der Service ist flott wie immer. Begrüßungsschnaps (Rosenlikör für Frauen) St. Georgenbräu und eine griechische Standardkarte mit fairen Preisen. Umbestellen von Beilagen und kleine Sonderwünsche, wie etwas Tsatsiki werden gerne erfüllt. Ansonsten hatte ich bisher nie Grund zur Beanstandung, die Metaxasoße ist würzig, der Beilagensalat großzügig und oft gibt es zum Abschied noch einen Ouzo

Ein spontaner Entschluß griechisch zu essen hat uns ins Dimitra geführt.
Ein freundlicher Empfang und ein aufmerksamer Service haben das Essen begleitet.
Zur Fino-​Platte (Gyros und Souvlaki) habe ich etwas Satziki vermisst, ich werde es das nächste mal dazubestellen. Es stand auf der Karte bei meinem Essen nicht dabei, ich habe das übersehen.
Der Salat war frisch und hatte ein auffallend gutes Dressing.

Der Ouzo vom Haus hat das gute Essen abgerundet.

Wir gehen sicher wieder hin.

Für ein schnelles Mittagessen ein prima Lokal. Die überbackene Hähnchenbrust in Metaxasoße ein Gedicht. Immer wieder gerne.
