Definitely not a terrible place to stay. The only reason it’s not 5 star is that they nickel and dime a lot of services and stuff. The roof bar is great, however and the staff is helpful and polite.

Zunächst immer derselbe Aerger: Man schreibt einen ausführlichen Beitrag — und der wird von Unilocal umgehnd und ersatzlos gelöscht, sowie man sich anmeldet. — Der Community Manager von Nürnberg — Mike «always huingry» — kann auch nicht angeschrieben werden — jeden Falls nicht von Normal-​Yelpern. Man muß also jeden Beitrag nach Erstellung erst einmal extern speichern.
Für die Massen an Gästen seit Eröffnung vor 5 Jahren sind 2 — 3 Bewertungen wirklich extrem wenig.

Preise variieren je nach Auslastung; mit 20 € teurer als A&O München Arnulfstraße 102. Gut für Kontakte und Abenteuer: von Burqah-​Trägerin bis Nacktschläfer alles bunt gemischt. Große Lobby Eingangsbereich.
Bettwäsche kostet extra — keine Kontrolle, ob man welche dabei habe. Check-​in cool. Frühstück 4 € extra — bei Gruppen kann man schwarz frühstücken. Spinde für Vorhangschloß/​Padlock. Seife und Fön immer vorhanden. Neben Stockbetten auch Betten nebeneinander…

The word hostel scares me but the AO, located just a few hundred yards from the Hauptbahnhof in Nuremberg is a place I would bring my group again. The rooms are clean, small, but efficient. I brought a group of 25 here and have yet to field a complaint — and we are talking about private university students. The breakfast is excellent and the overall staff is very efficient and personable. That’s about the dream in Germany where service is not always on the agenda.
