Hotel Gumberger Gasthof

We spent two nights in this hotel over the weekend. It’s located in a pretty remote location that makes it very quiet and a good fit relaxing. But if you’re here to visit Munich, I’d go for somewhere closer to the city. From Gumburger Hotel, it’s 15 minutes walk to the subway station that takes 40 minutes to the city center. The trains run at around every 10 minutes.
We slept in the hotel for two disappointing nights. We arrived on a Friday in July which happened to turn into the hottest weekend ever. And surprise surprise, the air con in it room was out of order. I tried to watch TV, but realized that it didn’t work either. So I asked for the «free Wi-​Fi» password. The receptionist have me a card with the username and password, but I couldn’t read German, and interestingly she couldn’t/choose not to help me connect, either.
On Saturday morning we decided to go for a walk, but at the reception they told us that if we wanted to leave the key with them, we had to be back before 6 pm to pick it up. So we took it with us.
Anyway, I think this was the last time we stayed in a place like that.

Das Hotel hat mir gut gefallen. Preis Leistung einfach Super. Das Frühstück war zu meiner Überraschung doch sehr reichhaltig. Die Frauen am Empfang waren sehr freundlich und das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet. Das Bad war top saniert und super clean. Es war sehr ruhig in dem Hotel, trotz Zimmerlage zur Hauptstrasse konnte ich am Tage echt gut schlafen. Das Hotel kann ich empfehlen und bei meiner nächsten Dienstreise werde ich dort wieder einen Stop einlegen. MfG

Normales Hotel, aber direkt an einer relativ stark befahrenen Straße. Das Frühstück ist ok, aber ich habe schon deutlich besseres gesehen. Der Gasthof ist in Ordnung. WLAN gibt es nur in ausgewählten Zimmern.
