Neu-​Eichenberg: mmh! What is characteristic? Yes, its train station which has a long history — of course. In the past it was a very important train station — and today you can still travel in all directions from here. I sometimes use it to go to Göttingen, to Kassel or to Heiligenstadt.
I remember 1990 — when they opened the link to the former East again.
Today, you will see the Cantus trains or the Eichsfeld Bahn. There is not even a toilet here. Sometimes I see people pissing (oops!) behind the bushes which I do not find funny. A little kiosk or coffee shop would be nice. In winter when it is cold there is not even a waiting room anymore.
