My husband got me a gift certificate for a mani-pedi at Christmastime and I just recently used it. I went in and was a little sketched out about the place. It was small and not very contemporary. The woman who was there was super nice and made me feel comfortable. I was led to the back and sat in a type of ghetto-rigged massage chair and little foot soaker/massage thingie. I was not very impressed. I had little faith in this place and didn’t expect much. The woman was so talkative and friendly. She listened to me and made an actual effort to talk to me, even though my German isn’t that. That made me feel much better. After I started to relax I realized she was doing an amazing job. She was really thorough and took her time. I got a french manicure and she did it perfectly, by hand, which I usually don’t see. Many places just use a spray gun to do the tips. She has the hands of a surgeon. I was pleasantly surprised when she was done with my feet. They looked amazing. No mistakes, smears, or streaks. The pedi. is still going strong, no chips, almost 2 weeks later. After she was done with everything I was so happy that my husband picked this place. It is a mom & pop place and I love to support local business. The only problem I really had is maybe the outdated massage chair. Other than that I would totally recommend going there. She takes her time and doesn’t try to rush through to get to the next person. If you go, tip 20% because she works hard and does an amazing job. Many people here only tip a few bucks and she deserves more.
