For the price, it’s a pretty good deal located in a somewhat sketchy area but still very centrally located — it was only a 5 minute walk to Oktoberfest and about a 15 minute walk to the Glockenspiel. With that being said, since it’s pretty centrally located, it’s a bit noisy and you can hear all the street noise, which woke me up a few times. The room was a little small and the elevator was tiny and slow. Other than that, however, I can’t really complain. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speak English quite well. They claimed we would be charged for wifi but we weren’t. Water pressure is amazing. Breakfast offering is AWESOME — great array of hot and cold options. Lots of different sausages, all different types of bread and pastries, unlimited beverages(juices, coffee, water — but note, you do have to pay extra for fancy coffee drinks like cappuccinos), yogurt, fruits, lox, cheeses, all different kinds of eggs… really impressive spread all things considered.

Nettes kleines Hotel. Lage ok, zentral zur Stadt und Bahnhof, aber nicht zu nah am Bahnhof Zimmer schlicht und ohne Flair, aber ok. Frühstück ist sehr Liebevoll zubereitet und gut.

The pluses far outweigh the minuses for the Hotel Andra. The location, which pretty central, is not the best and there«on-site parking» is about 3 blocks away. That being said, everything is pretty good. Hotel feels safe once inside and the rooms are very clean. The shower is bigger than most for typical German hotel. We requested to be on the back side of the hotel, so our room was pretty quite even with the window open. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast is the morning is very good; there is a huge selection of hot and cold options and breads. Check out time is noon, which is helpful when on a the road if you do not want to leave to early.

Ho boy are the pillows comfortable. I loved almost everything about this place: 1) staff was friendly(when I pulled up in my rental car, who I assume was the owner gave me his parking spot on the street so I wouldn’t have to drive around a foreign city looking for one 2) location is fairly central, if you’re in the euro-walking mind set. The main train station is fairly close and the Marienplatz isn’t far 3) breakfast food is bomb. they offer a huge variety of stuff 4) neighborhood isn’t bad — there are some weird areas, but my feeling about most European cities is that you’re never far from weird areas. Also, there is a really cool [hipster-ish?] bar like 2 doors down. The only con was that they don’t let you make phone calls from your room, even local ones. However, when I explained that I needed to call a friend in town, the front desk host let me use the main phone.
