Das Hotel bietet ordentliche Zimmer und ein gutes Frühstück. An vielen Stellen merkt man allerdings schon, dass hier lange nichts mehr neu gemacht wurde. Das ein oder andere Möbelstück strömt einen urigen Charme aus. Die Preise sind dafür okay, wenn man nicht gerade zur Wies’n ankommt.

TL/​DR: Good economic choice for Oktoberfest. I’d look elsewhere otherwise. WiFi is painfully slow, breakfast is overpriced.
So this hotel has your typical European small rooms and beds. The front desk staff all speak English well and are very helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff don’t really knock and tend to just come in the room. If you sleep in, be prepared to yell out «später, bitte!» (Later, please) under your covers while recovering from an Oktoberfest hangover.
In terms of location — this hotel is located on the last stop of the U5 line. For Oktoberfest, that’s pretty good as you get a direct line to Oktoberfest without having to change trains. Plus, being first to get on, you’re guaranteed a seat (although there are a lot of stops). There’s also an Aldi for basic shopping needs, a bank with an ATM and an Italian and Asian restaurant. (Didn’t try the Italian — but the Asian quality was «meh». A good option if you’re just looking for convenience over quality).
The Wi-​Fi is technically free but painfully slow. Everything takes a while to load, you constantly get kicked off and have to log back in. If you’re trying to plan out what you’re doing for the day, you have to spend a good 30 minutes because everything is so slow. Forget about youtube or pandora, the internet is too slow for streaming. They also limit you to a single device (although you can up the limit to 3 for 10 euros a night). This was by far the biggest disappointment.
Finally the breakfast was okay — scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, ham, sausage, cheese, yogurt, fruit and a few other things served buffet style with bottomless coffee. However — for 24 euros a night, I would say far too expensive (maybe that’s just Oktoberfest prices). You’re best just grabbing something to go from the U-​bahn station or one of the cafes in the local area.
It’s a little hard to judge this hotel as I would ordinarily consider what I paid to be too much for what I got, except that it’s Oktoberfest and every hotel charges insanely high prices. Because of this, I opted for a 3 star over a 2 star. If they get the Wi-​Fi up to speed, I would come back for Oktoberfest. But overall — I say look elsewhere.

Kleines, aber sauberes Hotel mit großräumiger Parkgarage und U-​Bahnanschluss. Man kann zwischen Queensize– und Twin-​Betten wählen.
Gutes Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis.
Der Service ist sehr zufriedenstellend.
Das Frühstück ist gut, aber eigentlich ein wenig zu teuer.

I’m actually in the lobby writing this as we speak. Funny I know right however I am pleased, location is near subways nice neighborhood. Rooms are typical European small but I’m happy with it. The beds are comfy if you like firm which I do, great on my back but the pillows are way to soft for me and … Should I dare write this … There is a dirty sock under the desk and its not mine !!! House keeping missed it I guess and someone probably is wondering did the wash machine eat another sock? But tomorrow starts October Fest soooo who cares… Not this girl, I might leave a sock behind balled up under that desk too.

Haben es durch einen Städtetrip von Mydays ausgewählt bekommen. Für eine Nacht war es OK. Doppelzimmer war für 2 Personen etwas zu klein. Badezimmer war auch soweit in Ordnung. Sehr zu loben war das Frühstück, super leckere Rühreier und der Rest war auch sehr gut. Für einen kleinen Aufpreis ist ein Tiefgaragenparklatz zu haben.

Preis — Leistung OK. Sauberes Zimmer inclusive Bad. Waren nur eine Nacht dort. Für einen Kurztrip gerne wieder.

4 Gehminuten von der U– und S-​Bahnstation Neuperlach Süd liegt das Golden Leaf Hotel. Wir hatten es über
zu einem Preis von 43EUR pro Doppelzimmer gebucht.
Die Räume sind ordentlich und sauber, und man sagt wohl zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad ist klein, aber es ist alles drin was man benötigt.
Obwohl wir Einzelbetten bestellt hatten, bekamen wir leider Zimmer mit Doppelbetten und da wir mit 6 Jungs unterwegs waren, die teilweise etwas breitschultriger waren wurde es recht eng.
Dennoch muss man sagen, das das Hotel absolut in Ordnung ist und ich auf alle Fälle wieder dort übernachten würde. Für den Preis bekommt man nix besseres.
