Eine reine Katastrophe war unser Besuch beim Grünen Michel. In der Karte sind alle veganen Gerichte mit einem «V» gekennzeichnet. Bei der Frage ob der Salat mit Paprika und Gurke vegan sei, würde sich erstmal darüber lustig gemacht. Naja könnte ja sein das Ei, Käse oder Sahne dabei ist. Hat die Kellnerin aber nicht wirklich interessiert.
Prompt ist bei dem veganen Hauptgang Käse drauf.
Es sei wohl ein Druckfehler in der Karte. Am Tisch neben an bekamen Leute das falsche essen.
Eine wirkliche Entschuldigung ist nicht gekommen. Während des Gespräches über den Käse war im zweiten Essen erstmal ein Haar drin.
Auch hier wurde sich mehr aufgeregt als Verständnis zu zeigen, was uns doch einfällt sich zu beschweren.
Ich muss sagen das die Kellnerin die Inkompetenz in Person ist und keinerlei Feingefühl hat. Sie ist vollkommen fehl am Platz und hat in der Gastro nichts verloren.
Mein Fazit:
Einmal und nie wieder. Reine Zeitverschwendung.

Eine tolle Location am Leonberger Marktplatz. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr gutes Essen zu einem guten Preis. Die Semmelknödel mit Pfifferlingen waren sehr lecker und der Burger No 2 köstlich, die Pommes dazu waren unübertroffen gut. Die Bio — Limonaden einfach lecker ! Allein die beengte Sitz — Situation hat mich gestört. Ich mag nicht mit fremden Menschen so beengt sitzen, dass diese aufstehen müssen, wenn ich das Lokal verlassen wollte.

What a fantastic place! We were visiting Leonberg and were playing the «restaurant roulette» game, looking for a place at random. Grüner Michel looked interesting, and the menu posted outside promised good things.
We were not disappointed! It’s pretty small inside, and the host, detecting our non-German-speaking first apologized for not having any open tables, but found a nice counter we could eat at. He then apologized for not having any English menus, and then apologized for being a vegan restaurant. Hey, no problem, since we saw the magic word Spargel on the menu.
The meal was utterly fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious, from the perfectly cooked asparagus and crepes to the risotto to the fresh hummus amuse-bouche brought out to whet our appetites. It was a charming place, with a splendid WC, folks that obviously care about the quality of the food they cook, and a delightful staff. I’m not by any stretch of the imagination a vegan, but this place more than satisfied me and was quite possibly the best meal I had in Germany. If you’re in Leonberg, be sure to drop by.
