Hotel Fischerwirt

This is a great Bavarian style family-​owned hotel. Stayed here for three nights while traveling on business in Ismaning. My room was clean, reasonably sized (for Europe), comfortable, dead quiet, with more than adequate closet space, a work desk, and excellent free wireless Internet. Bathroom was small but efficient. Roll down blackout shutters were a nice touch to keep the room dark.
Breakfast was included in the room price and was a typical spread of cheeses, meats, yogurt, cereals, breads, fresh fruit, juices, and great table service if you wanted coffee or tea. After the first day they recognized me and brought a pot of tea without asking. Dinning room was never crowded. There is an Italian restaurant on the property that was quite good for dinners. No English menus, but wait staff spoke English, as did the hotel staff.
There are several good restaurants in the area if you want variety. Restaurant Rama for Indian food is remarkable.

Where the guy from the other review found this super-​glamorous hotel is a mystery to me: this is your regular Bavarian hotel, and nothing fancy about it. My room is rather small and is not on a sunny side, so that doesn’t help. The bathroom is tiled in orange-​brown tiles that must have been hot in the sixties, and the taps have seen better times as well. OK, everything is very clean, but hello, what else do you expect in Bayern? As to Internet: the Wifi does simply not work, and after one week of complaints, is still not working. There is an old PC on the second floor that you can use free of charge, but it has no USB entries, no camera, no microphone, so you’re better off finding yourself an Internet Café in town (none in this shining village of rich farmers of course).
Breakfast is as to be expected, and quite OK. Although even here, the Bavarian mentality shows: I asked if I could have scrambled eggs instead of the eternally overcooked ones, and the answer was: no, she only made ‘regular’ eggs! Ha! Regular eggs, meaning done the Bavarian way!

Super schickes Hotel und der Preis passt dazu. Personal sehr nett Zimmer für eine Person groß und Bad sehr sauber. Internet kostenlos, was will man mehr. Frühstück war auch super mit Lachs sogar und die Eier hatten süße mützen auf. Zwei Sachen aber, Heizung läuft lang auf komplett und zimmer wird nach stunden erst warm. Dann ist die Dusche sehr klein und für dicke oder schon für gepackte nicht zu gebrauchen. Die zwei Sachen, aber sonst schon 4 Sterne Hotel, vor allem wie gesagt richtig sauber. Einfach super!!! Sehr zu empfehlen.
