This restaurant was recommended to us by our Pension hostess as the place where we would find «real German food.» We enjoyed our meals there very much, but it became clear that, as aging North Americans, we couldn’t eat there every night and survive. The food is incredibly rich and the servings are huge — and, it’s all delicious! A visit to Germany wouldn’t be complete without some fare like this. the service was excellent and tolerant of our bad German. (Try to have cash too pay; they have a credit card machine but are clearly not in the habit of using it.)

Gut bürgerliche Küche, netter Gastraum. Keine große Speisekarte, aber passend zur Herbstzeit gab es etliche Kohlgerichte und die Puten-​Kohl-​Roulade war absolut spitze!
