I was extremely satisfied and impressed by the iPhone screen repair service at Justcom Altona. Given how important and expensive my phone is, I naturally have trust issues when it comes to letting someone repair it and the guys at Justcom were great. My phone was ready after an hour and a half and looked as good as new.
Brief background of your reviewer: I’m a clumsy iPhone 5c owner who managed to break the glass on my 2 year old phone twice in one month. Blah! That being said, having now become somewhat of an unwilling iPhone screen replacement connoisseur in Hamburg, I offer the following tips:
– Get the 20 € option for the unbreakable glass protection. (Ask for the Panzer Glass) Just think of it as insurance against inevitably repeating your misfortune!
– 99 € seems to be the going rate for screen replacement and so far, my screen haven’t had a problem getting the screen competently replaced at this price. Apple’s option is ~139 € + a 9 or so day turnaround because they have to send it away and blah blah blah. My experience at Justnow was professional and I would totally recommend their technical abilities when it comes to repairing iPone screens!
– It seems like most places, including Justnow, can turn around your iPhone in 30 – 90 minutes as long as they have the screen size in stock. When I got my screen replaced at another store, I was quoted 30 minutes but when I returned 4 hours, the man told me that they were still waiting for the right screen to arrive. Arg!
Given that there is basically perfect competition when it comes to iPhone screen repairs, there is no reason you should have to wait more than 90 or so minutes for your phone in Hamburg. I would definitely recommend calling ahead to make sure the right screen is in stock if you don’t have a ton of time to travel from store to store.
I was really impressed by how honest the Justnow employees were on this front. I originally went to the Sternschanze location and the guy was extremely straightforward with me, told me they were out of iPhone 5c screens, and recommended I call back later or go a sister location for immediate service. Mad points for honesty and I was more than happy to go to Justnow Altona instead.

Justcom Altona hab ich neulich entdeckt, als das Handy meiner Schwester den Weg aller Mütterhandys gegangen ist (in die Toilette) und ich es von der Reparatur abholen sollte.
Das Handy war noch nicht fertig und die Chancen standen schlecht. Dennoch wurde ich auch kurz vor Feierabend nett aufgenommen, der Zuständige unterbrach seine Pause um mir ausführlich zu erklären, warum die Reparatur schwierig ist.
Im Endeffekt konnten die netten Jungs das Gerät zwar nicht retten, aber haben sich sehr bemüht und noch nette Tipps gegeben. Man hat den Eindruck, dass die Jungs was verstehen, von dem was sie da machen.
Es wird mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Handy der Familie gewesen sein, das ich dort abgebe.
