Gecko bar is definitely the most fun pool hall you’ll find in Hamburg. I have no idea what they were thinking with all the movie characted statues, but it’s kinda cool, as is the huge gecko. Other than all the movie characters the bar has a sort of jungle theme with lots of bamboo — random. Once you get past all of that though you notice that it’s actually quite a cool bar.
Having said all that, there is only one reason to make the trip to Gecko bar in my eyes — to play pool. The tables here aren’t cheap, but they are good.
