Sorry but I had the same experience as Sarah M. And I have been there three times. The first time for just a haircut and it was okay so I thought I would try it again. Again it was not great, but better then the last I’d had in Frankfurt. I have been all over the place. to Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Dylus, and several others over the years. I had color done there the second time. It was done by the owner (can’t recall her name at the moment) and it was good. I liked it. But, I had blonde highlights done by Bella and I ended up with grayish streaks in my hair which were not obvious to me until I got home. Their lighting is poor. (And an aside, horribly uncomfortable chairs. Weird because I have never, ever noticed that when getting a haircut before.) And the price?! I don’t consider the cuts or color I have received there to be on par at all with what I get when I go home and they are almost double what I would pay at a very reputable salon. Ridiculous. I think they get the scared expats (though I know they get Germans, too) in there that are not yet secure enough in their German to attempt communicating «hair lingo». I get that. It’s why I went. But, sorry. It was NOT worth what I paid. They were nice enough people. They are very nice. But, the cumulative experience after the three times I’ve been there is that I will not go back.

Proceed with caution fellow expats!!! You’ll feel safe because they speak English, but beware because the quality and price are sketchy! The lighting is also not very good so if you are having colour done it can be difficult to tell if it has turned out.

Bella kept adding product and procedures to my hair because they didn’t successfully match my blonde and needed to blend it better. I didn’t realize this was all costing me more and more — naïve I guess but I’ve never had anyone fail to bleach a centimetre of roots before! It wasn’t until I went to pay that I got hit with nearly DOUBLE the initial quote!
The kicker? At present my hair is 3 different colours: my original blonde, the botched blonde Headlines put on my hair, and now my grow in… Thank you Headlines! You have ripped me off and botched my hair in one fell swoop.
I will never, ever, ever go back! They may not always mess up your hair but they are very likely to over charge you! Proceed with caution!
