Ambiente könnte man als etwas gehoben bezeichnen. Preise auch aber noch ok. Fleischspiesse war mir zuviel Fett dran. Cevapcici (mh wie schreibt man das gleich noch?) sehr lecker. Salat auch. Neben den kroatischen Grillsachen gibt es auch Wiener Schnitzel etc.
Ich würde nochmal hingehen und was anderes ausprobieren. Solange lass ich es mal bei 3 Sternen.

I loved this restaurant so much! I was on a recent weekend trip with some friends at a nearby hostel and was recommended here by a local. It a little off the beaten path, especially since we took shortcuts through the woods to get here and it was around 9pm. Anyway, I immediately loved the ambience. Both inside and outside reminded me of a heartwarming, homey cottage. The inside was candlelit, with elegant and woodsy décor. There were families there, and also many elderly customers chatting and enjoying their meals.
Foodwise, everything was a bit on the pricier side, with entrees ranging from 12−25+ euros. But the food was well worth every penny. I got a goulash, and my friends got a steak dish and beef stroganoff. The goulash was a bit oversalted, but I had it with some brioche and it was just fine. The steak and stroganoff were both some of the best, most tender, and well prepared I’ve ever tasted!
Service itself deserves 5+ stars. My friends and I asked if they could call a taxi for us back to the hostel since it was late. But they came back and informed us that taxis were not running that late. But the manager offered to drive us back instead and would not take our payment. Honestly, that was so humbling and heartwarming and so nice of them :)

Seit über drei Jahren fahre ich jeden Arbeitstag zwei Mal am Makarska Grill vorbei.
Letztes Wochenende, als ich privat mal in der Gegend unterwegs war, wollte ich endlich mal das Essen dort probieren.
Ein Kommentar auf meinen Check-​in lautete in etwa: «Bist Du schon alt genug für dieses Rentner-​Food»!?
Inzwischen weiss ich, was gemeint war. ;-)
Wir waren um 17:00 Uhr dort, also gleich, nachdem der Laden aufgemacht hat.
Somit waren wir die Ersten.
Bestellt wurden zwei Mal Grillplatte und ein Mal Pljeskavica.
Das Pljeskavica gibt es wahlweise mit Schafskäse oder Emmentaler. Das finde ich toll! Gewählt wurde die Version mit Emmentaler. Passt super zum Hackfleisch! Viel würziger als der Schafskäse.
Die Grillplatte war auch sehr gut.
Eine Scheibe Speck, zwei Chevapchichi, ein Rinderschnitzel, ein Schweineschnitzel, ein Putenschnitzel, Pommes, Reis, Kräuterbutter und Zwiebeln in Gewürzketchup-​Soße.
Alles sehr lecker, nur die Schnitzel waren etwas trocken.
Kein Problem für uns, aber ob das was für die Rentner ist? ;-)
Denn nach uns sind schnell viel mehr Gäste eingetroffen. Alles Stammgäste und aber auch alle im Rentenalter.
Jetzt verstehe ich auch den Kommentar zu meinem Check-​in. ;-)
Aber wenn der Laden fast jeden Abend voll ist, dann spricht das doch sehr für das Lokal. Egal, wie alt die Gäste sind.
Grundsolides Essen. Garantiert einen Besuch wert!
