Flohmarkt

You know those flea markets where there are more professional vendors than actual private sellers? — not here!
This is the best flea market I know, exactly for that reason. You will find students who have obviously decluttered their flats, kids sitting on the ground selling their toys, moms selling their crockery (the one they always hated but had to keep for the sake of peace with their in-​laws), few professional vendors, though even their stuff is pretty epic. All in all it’s a great occasion to find things that you know you don’t need but they only cost 50ct, so you just have to buy them!
The market takes place every first Saturday of a month — but it gets so ridiculously crowded, as if people are giving away stuff for free! So make sure you get here early!
Bottom line:
* private sellers instead of professional spoon and toothbrush sellers…
* epic!

Der Flohmarkt auf dem Bohlenplatz in Erlangen ist der älteste Flohmarkt Frankens und in jedem Fall empfehlenswert. Hier findet der Trödler wirklich alles was das Herz begehrt. Kunst und Krempel sind nirgendwo so dicht beeinander. Habe selbst schon ausgezeichnete Stücke hier erstanden. Normalerweise findet er jeden 1. Samstag im Monat statt, bis auf die kleinen Events zwischendurch. Heute war wieder ein Samstag und ich wollte früh gleich los, aber dann hats furchtbar geregnet. Als gegen Mittag endlich die Sonne rauskam, bin ich dann doch noch mal losgedüst. Die Bilder täuschen ein wenig, es war schon spät und die meisten hatten schon abgebaut und doch waren noch ein paar gute Stände da und ich wurde fündig. An sonnigen Tagen reihen sich in dem kleinen Park und dicken hohen Bäumen Stand an Stand und es ist eine Freude sich hier aufzuhalten.
