Nordsee

Grabbed a couple of sandwiches here, nothing too exotic for us. Yet the freshness and the quality of the attractively-​presented sandwiches deserve top billing.
Where can you get walnut bread and delicious foccaccia with high quality smoked salmon? Where else the mustard and remoulade so fresh and sharp? Nordsee!

I almost hate admitting how much I adore this fast food chain. In part, because all my friends in Germany know what I’ll ask for immediately after landing at DUS.
It’s become a running joke.
Where I come from the brand that’s closest to this would be a chain of seafood bars called «Ivar’s». But unlike my local place back home, Nordsee has what my Dutch grandmother raised me up eating «matjes herring» and the best deep fried shrimp in the world with several sauces to choose from. Including their famous (yes, famous) chili sauce, tartar and remoulade (I like to mix them up). Then there’s the sushi, baked fish, fish sandwiches and fries.
I’ve been to probably 10 of these places so far: Bremen, Frankfurt, Münster, various train stations, airports, Köln, Bonn, and Düsseldorf. Trust me when I tell you NEED to try their fries («pommes») at least once in your life time. You’ll never think of fries in the same way I promise you.
Just a sample of what you can expect for about 5 €:
* Alaska pollack — crispy baked, with potato salad and tartar sauce.
* Gravlax with sliced boiled eggs, cream cheese and dill sauce with chives on a baguette.
* Norwegian salmon filet with golden butter potatoes.
* Huge shrimp salad with lemon garlic dressing.
Seriously, Nordsee is like the Chipotle of the seafood eating world.

Lachsfilet auf Haut mit Petersilienkartoffeln und Sauce Hollandaise einfach lecker und gesund. Wer ein wenig Zeit mitbringt kann sich die Fische auch frisch zubereiten lassen. Ganz nette Bedienungen in angenehmer Atmosphäre mit Blick auf das Flugfeld. Sitzplätze lassen sich meist auch Mittags problemlos finden.

Ich bin häufig am Flughafen am essen und finde mit Nordsee kann man nichts falsches mache, denn das essen dort schmeckt Super, Personal ist nett wie sich das gehört und natürlich sauber.

Passt. Entweder man mag Nordsee oder nicht. Bedienung war freundlich und nett, es war sauber und das Essen, insbesondere die Bratkartoffeln, triefte mal nicht vor Fett, so wie es in anderen Nordees oftmals der Fall ist. Das mit Champions gebackene Seelachsflet war geschmacklich und optisch gut. Leider war es etwas laut, aber das ist am Flughafen nun mal so

Ich schreibe ja nur selten zu Systemgastronomie. Es sei denn es ist auffallend gut oder schlecht. Essen ist gewohnte Qualität. Zum Service muss ich sagen selten solch netten motivierten Service in der Systemgastro gesehen. Alleine dafuer 5 Sterne.

Ich bin häufiger Flughafenbesucher und speise dabei auch manchmal im Nordsee Restaurant. Was auch immer ich dort bestelle, es ist stets preiswert und schmeckt immer sehr lecker. Das Personal ist immer freundlich. Der Ausblick auf das Vorfeld ist immer wieder sehr interessant. Ein Besuch ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auch ich werde zukünftig sicher noch öfter und gerne dort essen.

For an airport the food isnt too bad!
of course you have airport prices, and on occasion such as when i visited the menu wasnt available. the staff are very friendly, and will point out what is available and also recommend a dish.
there is plenty of seating available either in a quieter area or at the front in front of the hustle bustle of the passengers!

Als ich den Nordsee Imbiss am Flughafen sah, hatte ich sofort Lust auf ein Stück fritierten Fisch mit Kartoffelsalat. Lecker ist auch Fish und Chips. Ich finde das schmeckt an diesem Imbiss immer noch am besten. Hier wird der Fisch frisch zubereitet und dem Kartoffelsalat sieht man an, das er von heute ist. Nichts hat hier angesetzt. Er wird viel verkauft. Hier an diesem Nordsee– Imbiss ist alles sehr sauber und appetitlich. Diese Imbiss-​Kette ist in meinen Augen immer noch die reellste Form. Besser als jeder Burger.
Die Leute die hier arbeiten sind sehr nett und freundlich. Sie arbeiten sauber und sehr professionell. Lassen sich auch nicht durch die Hektik des Flughafens aus der Ruhe bringen. Ich finde es lohnt sich immer hier einen kleinen Zwischenstopp einzulegen.
