The best original Italian coffee for the best price in the whole university (clinic) area and original Italian desserts. Whenever I have more time for a coffee and am lucky enough to be close, I buy my coffee there. They are doing some great barista coffee work with milk foam like you would bite into a cloud and well sorted and brewed coffee.
The coffee house is located in the area of all the clinical institutions and hospitals and one might think, it is one of those cafés that are just there to give doctors their daily dose of caffeine to be able to make it through the day. But at a bargain price of around two Euros you get high quality coffee made by a passionate shop owner.
Even if you are abit hungry, they offer great sandwiches, bagels and often there is even a meal of the day. One specialty is the dough filled with minced meat, really delicious not-​sweet snack and original Italian. Of course, there are also sweet original Italian desserts perfectly to eat while drinking your cappuccino.
I wished, any coffee shop in Cologne would offer that a great coffee and delicacies, served with the same passion and friendliness.

Auf dem Weg zur Arbeit radle ich immer quer durch das Areal der Uni-​Klinik. Und neulich sprang ich mal vom Rad, um in diesem Café zu frühstücken.
Was soll ich sagen: klar ist das Ambiente eher sehr nüchtern, viel weißes und schlichtes Mobiliar, das schon etwas nach Cafeteria aussieht. Aber es gibt echt gute italienische Sachen zu essen da (Ciabatta und Co), der Kaffee ist nicht nur riesig und günstig, sondern auch sehr lecker. Und der Mann der hinter der Theke war einfach extrem nett.
Ich werde in Zukunft sicher öfter am Morgen hier halt machen!
