Früh am Dom

Food is very good here! The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming! It is separated with restaurant and bar area which works very well for those with families. the beer is very good and it is served in tall skinny glasses!

An «American» tourist’s review:
Although it was kind of hard at first for two non-​German to understand the seating arrangement at Fruh, once we finally got seated we had a really good experience. We were unclear whether to just seat ourselves or inform a waiter, but after a waiter waived us in one direction we were escorted out. Ultimately someone seated us and everything worked out.
First of all, the beer was great! I’m not the biggest beer drinker but this was light and delicious and paired fantastically with the food. I ordered a hack steak (which is basically like a big meatball/​meatloaf) with fried potatoes and my friend ordered the goulash with boiled potatoes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I think it’s safe to say it was one of my favourite meals I had while in Germany!

Als Kölner habe ich das Gefühl das Früh am Dom lebt zwischenzeitlich nur noch von Touristen, die nicht merken wie schlecht es ist oder sich das schön trinken.
Das Kölsch ist meist schlecht gezapft (bi zu 2 Finger unter Eichstrich habe ich erlebt, aber das war das Extrem) und das zum Altstadtpreis. Die Köbbes verwechseln unhöflich mit der kölschen Art (ist ja auch kaum noch einer Kölner) und das Essen ist schlicht zu teuer.
Da trete ich gern den Weg in die Südstadt an — beim Früh im Veddel wird noch echt Kölsch serviert und gut gezapft schmeckt auch das Früh.

Second best place for Kolsch in town. Had several, the beers were great and the service was excellent too. Great location by the fantastic church, the pretzel was good, great mustard. The place is huge and worth exploring a bit.

Die Bräuerei kenne ich natürlich. War dort mal zum Mittag und mit Kollegen Bier trinken. Netter Laden. Das Essen ist ganz ok. Der Service ist wie üblich zackig.

DAS Touri-​Brauhaus schlechthin. Das Ambiente im Keller ist sehenswert und gemütlich. Insgesamt ist das Essen und das Bier OK. Wer aber noch mehr Gemütlichkeit, besseres Bier bzw. Essen sucht muss woanders hin.

Servers were quick and friendly. An older gentleman server was more than happy to speak english with us. It is important to get along with your server here because you have to order a mini beer every 5 minutes… that’s how they serve them here! If you are in Cologne during white asparagus season ordering them is a must!

Food was subpar. Drinks were meh: the server was horrible and didn’t check on us and gave us attitude. Also he seemed fairly incompetent. Didnt come even when we called him, like he had tunnel vision or something. The herring dish with cream was literally just canned Herring in mayonnaise. Horrible.

Gleich um die Ecke am Koelner Dom ist das Brauhaus Frueh zu finden. Frisch gezapftes wohlschmeckendes Koelsch in einem typisch urigen Ambiente erwartet einen hier. Die Bedienungen sind schnell und freundlich. Keinesfalls sitzt man hier auf dem Trockenen. Der Speisekarte laesst sich das uebliche Brauhausessen entnehmen, aber um 10:30 morgens war in meinem Magen noch kein Platz fuer Mittagessen. Man bedenke, hier ist jeden Tag ab 8:00 morgens geoeffnet.

Went after visiting the Kolmer Dom and was not disappointed. The Kolsch beer was as recommended and quite a hit. The service was perfection and attentive. We just wanted snacks and shared a pretzel, cheese plate, and a sauerkraut soup. We wished we were hungry as everyone around us was ordering the dinner fare. Our food was delicious and I would love to go again and recommend to anyone in the area. It is a must see.

Station 2 unseres Brauereiwanderwegs am Sonntag, 13.03.2016. 400 m vom Gaffel am Dom entfernt endlich wieder was zu trinken.
Mit zu viel Früh-​Kölsch (aktuell zu 1,70 €) hatte ich in der Vergangenheit Probleme. Aber auch mit wenig Getränk musste ich orientierungsloser Geist aufgrund der riesigen Institution mit vielen Nebenräumen in der Vergangenheit meine mich begleitende Gesellschaft per Handy-​Anruf bitten, mich an den Toiletten abzuholen, weil ich sie in den Nischen schlichtweg nicht fand.
Es ist immer noch ein schönes Haus in einer schönen Ecke (nahe Hauptbahnhof) mit schönem Kleingarten vor dem sehenswerten Heinzelmännchen-​Brunnen.
Heute saßen wir nur in der Märzen-​Sonne vorm Haus und erhielten umgehend nach dem Platznehmen vor einem Fass das erwünschte kühle Nass (1,70 €).
Auch wenn Früh-​Kölsch in meiner persönlichen Geschmacks-​Liga eher hinten liegt, gab es bei diesem Kurzbesuch keinerlei Anlass für Verdruss. Daher auch hier: 5 Sterne!

Going through Köln looking for the best Kölsch Beer with my dad. When we were finished we ranked each beer based on quality compared to the others.
This place was the biggest of all the Breweries we went into. The inside is old and makes me feel like I’m enjoying a Kölsch 30 years ago which I think is nice.
The Früh Kölsch is pretty good. About average on taste. Wasn’t my favorite but also wasn’t my least favorite either.
A really cool place to visit if you are visiting Köln. Germans certainly know their beer.

Beim wiederholten einkehren, gleich zwei Kellner wieder erkannt. (Mir fällt der andere Begriff nicht ein;))
Es ist Zeit für den Karneval und so war’s eben auch recht überfüllt. :) kein Problem. Dennoch bekamen wir einen Tisch für 5. :)
Kurz nach dem setzen kam auch schon jemand um unsere Getränkewünsche entgegen zu nehmen. :) na klar: kölsch!
Wir mussten auch weiter nicht warten. Und konnten unser Essen ordern. :)
Sauerbraten, Himmel un ääd usw. Alles schnell da gewesen. Und Ultra lecker.
Leider etwas teuer. Aber das ist eben an Touri Plätzen so. ;)
Später machte der Kellner noch ein Gruppen Foto von uns. (Er bot sich an). Fand ich nett. Und er erzählte uns eine kleine Geschichte.
Diese Erfahrung machte ich nun zum 3. mal.
Ich empfehle hier mindestens einmal einzukehren. Man hat nicht das Gefühl, dass man als touri einfach nur abgefertigt wird. :)

I have to disagree with what my fellow Glasgow Unilocalers think, I love the Früh.
Yes it’s pricy, yes it’s busy, and yes it’s one of Cologne’s most famous tourist attractions — but it is this for a reason.
Especially compared to some of the other Brauhäuser Cologne has to offer, because it’s so busy here the beer will always be fresh and Früh Kölsch is one of Cologne’s most famous beers for a reason. It’s also authentic (it’s so authentic that they were still brewing their beer here until 1987) — and it’s impressive it remains this way with the amount of tourists that frequent this place.
The food is down to Earth, because that’s what you’re going to get in a Brauhaus. The Köbes (that’s what we in Cologne call our waiters in the Brauhaus) are unfriendly but how strange would it be if they were anything but disgruntled? N.B., if you didn’t know this, this is important: if you do not want any more beer, place your beer mat on your Kölschglas (your glass of Kölsch) and he will not bring you anymore. Otherwise the Köbes will continue to replace your beer. Also N.B. it’s cash only, but that’s not a Früh thing, that’s a German thing. If you want to eat here, make sure you have cash on you, and otherwise if you go downstairs near the exit, there’s a cash machine there to save you.
Everything about this place is authentic Cologne. You look at pictures from yesteryear, and you will notice that the Früh has changed very little — it’s vast, it’s a maze and it has character. The food is authentic. Unless you count the Apfelstrudel, that’s not authentic Cologne but people think it’s German (it’s Austrian, people believe the dough actually originates from baklava and then arrived in Vienna and became a big thing there), so that’s probably why they serve it. The menu is in both English and German (you’re welcome), and the food is tasty.
All I can say, is that Früh is Cologne and has been for 111 years, and their advertisements are ingenious (if you speak German and understand puns). Alaaf.

If you’re looking for a traditional beer house experience near Dom Cathedral go here. Great for big groups and tons of neat caverns. Food is good enough.
But the beer is really good.

If you aren’t sold on this one… another spot that is good that locals recommend for the kolsh experience is Brauerei Päffgen a little further away.

Super urige Kölsch Bierschänke. Jeder Könne Jong sollte mal seinen Feierabend an der Schänke im Früh verbracht haben. Die Lokalität ist Riesig und sehr verwinkelt, hier können auch Große Gruppen untergebracht werden. Das Essen ist gut, zur Auswahl stehen Brauhaus Klassiker wie Hälmchen oder Blutwurscht, aber auch Saisonales wie Wild. Da es meistens Voll ist empfiehlt es sich bei größeren Gruppen vorher zu reservieren. Top Location für Menschen die gern gesellig sind und sich gern mit seines gleichen Trifft.

Cölner Hofbräu Früh. Prob the best brewery and hall in Köln (since 1904). THE best place to go to for a good traditional beer and also for it’s authentic food. It is such an authentic place (realised after going to many breweries in area including other beer hall in more touristy area’s) that this one only employs men serving. So it’s very traditional!
The staff are very talkative and friendly. When you come to this city you’ll notice hey serve their special beer of Kölsch in Demi sized glasses. You put a beermat on top as a way of telling the waiter that you are finished. If a glass is empty and doesn’t have a beer mat on top he will automatically come with a fresh new one. Although I’m more used to a proper pint I really liked these sized glasses of beer. Cheap too; As is any booze in Germany tbh.
Was so perfect, we came twice in 4 days, having Köln traditional soups, mettbrötchen (a must!!!) and beer herb cheese to go with our never ending Kölsch. Awesome.

Als echte Kölsche Jong muss auch mal zum Früh gehen, so als Feierabend Kölsch wie heute z.B. Oder nach Stadtbummel mal schnell auf einen trinken.
Das macht man am Eingang an der Theke. Meistens kann der Kellner merken, wieviel man getrunken hat. Und sie sind auch freundlich, können aber mal frech sein. Viele Kellner haben keine Probleme mit mir als Gehörloser Gast.
Man muss einfach aufpassen, dass man mal dumme Sprüche bekommt, wenn man z.B. Wasser bestellt. Dann fragt der Kellner: «Brauchen Sie Seife dazu?» Meiner Mutter ist das mal passiert.^^ seitdem bestellt sie lieber Kölsch.
In diesem Jahr feiert Früh den 111-​jährigem Jubiläum. Das sieht man an die Gläser.
War zwar paar Mals zum Essen hier. Ist einfach halt kölsch. Da kann ich eine lustige Geschichte erzählen:
Ein Freund von mir aus Stuttgart war bei mir und hat großen Hunger und guckte auf Speisekarte. Als der Kellner mich fragte, was ich essen will, sagte ich sofort «halver Hahn», habe nicht viel Hunger. Mein Freund hörte mit und meinte, will auch das gleiches wie ich haben. Später hatte er große Augen, als er Roggenbrötchen mit Käse belegt bekam. Als Imi dachte er, er würde halbes Huhn bekommen. Müsste darüber lachen. Er bestellte noch ein Gulasch.
Das Essen hier ist etwas teuer, Touristen-​Kneipe halt. Aber manche Kellner erzählen gerne was eine Geschichte, da ich jedoch taub bin, verpasse ich vieles. Machts auch nichts, dafür habe ich meine Ruhe. :)
Eins muss man wissen: Junggesellenabschied-​Gruppe wird es nicht gerne gesehen.

Eindrucksvoll verwinkelter Gewölbekeller mit vielen separierten Ecken, vernünftiger Küche zu passablen Preisen und einem guten Kölsch. Touristisch für meinen Geschmack überbeansprucht, aber für die domnahe Lage kann das Früh ja nichts.
Früh nennt sich Hofbräu, dies ist als Gag zu verstehen. Residenzstadt war Köln nie und hatte deshalb auch keinen Hof. Des Rätsels Lösung ist die Adresse des Bauhauses «Am Hof» ‚.
Häufig erste Station des Kölner Brauhauswanderweges, da Köln Tourismus in unmittelbarer Nähe ist und da über dem Eingang des Früh-​Stammhauses ein Abbild vom hl. Petrus von Mailand in Stein gehauen ist — dem Schutzpatron der Bierbrauer. Der Schutzpatron wird häufig mit einer Axt im Kopf dargestellt, was nicht auf den Kater nach zuviel Bierkonsum hindeuten soll, sondern darauf, dass der unbeliebte Inquisitor bei einer Alpenüberquerung umgebracht wurde.

Abends leider sehr voll! Deshalb heute mal ein Versuch am Montag-​Mittag: Es hat geklappt!

Simply put, Fruh Hofbrau is the place to go if you are in Cologne and want to try the local Kolsch, along with delicious food. The best part here is the atmosphere, with winding staircases, cool cellars, and a patio to enjoy the sunshine. Even recommended by locals, Fruh Hofbrau serves some of the best food amongst the other Kolsch Brauhauses in the city.
Yet, as some other reviews have noted, the beer will keep coming unless a coaster is placed on top of the glass. And, like most places in Germany, you must pay in cash. Both are customs here you need to recognize if you are traveling in Cologne.

Origineller und besser, weil nicht anbiedernd grell. Kölsche Kulturstätte, die insbesondere bei meinen vielen ausländischen Gästen herrvorragend ankommt.
Ruhig mehrere der kleinen typisch kölschen Gerichte nehmenn und teilen, besser als einsam an einer Haxe zu kämpfne!

Zu Beginn: der Laden ist wohl ein typischer Tourischuppen, geschuldet auch der Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof und am Dom.
Trotzdem haben wir uns ganz wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten einen netten Tisch irgendwo dreimal um’s Eck hinab in den Keller :-) Ich fand, dass das Bräuhaus durch die verwinkelten Räume einen großen Charme hat. Hinzu kommt noch ein Vorteil (den ich bei anderen Bräukellern immer als Nachteil empfinde): durch die verschiedenen Ebenen und Zwischenwände ist der Lautstärkepegel gerade noch angenehm. Um uns herum sowohl Touris als auch Einheimische. Unser Kellner war nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen war ok, der Erwartung entsprechend. Das Kölsch war lecker und süffig.
Wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

We came with a group of 18 guys. Making a reservation had been somewhat of a challenge, I had to reserve three times (I called the place for reservations, got a confirmation, did not trust it called again, thy lost my reservation, and this process repeated itself once more but a large group and language issues, I understand.
Nothing to say about the food really just what you would expect which is nice.
It was annoying you could not pay with a card, but for the rest definitely recommended!

Das Cölner Hofbräu Früh ist ein absolutes Muss für jeden, der die Stadt besucht.
Klassisches Essen gepaart mit bestem Kölsch — PERFEKT!
Die Bedienungen sind im klassischem kölner Stil: stets ein frisches Kölsch und einen flotten Spruch auf Lager.
Das Essen ist ein absoluter Traum — allein der Gedanke an diese, auf den Punkt gegarte Haxe, lässt mir heute noch, knapp 3 Wochen später, das Wasser im Munde zusammenlaufen.
Fazit: EIN BESUCH LOHNT ALLEMAL!

Mein Lieblingsbrauhaus! Mein Wohnzimmer! Hier gibt es eins der besten Kölsch in einem der schönsten Brauhäuser. Es zählt zu den größten Brauhäuser in Köln mit tollen verschiedenen Räumlichkeiten und dem typischen «Brauhausflair». Ich bin sehr oft hier weil hier auch viele Kölner hingehen und man meistens immer einen Stammgast trifft. Das Kölsch ist schön süffig und herrlich erfrischend, so das man schon mal gerne versackt. Vor allem wenn man wieder fremde Menschen kennen lernt die über die Offenheit der Kölner begeistert sind.
Obwohl hier wirklich Massen verkehren und unendlich viele Essen rausgehen, kann man hier lecker essen. Achtung! Es gibt im früh mehrere Küchen. Am besten kann man im Brauhauskeller essen die mit einer eigenen und offenen Küche das Essen raus gibt. Ich esse gerne hier und das sehr lecker.
Erwähnte ich schon das das Kölsch herrlich lecker und erfrischend schmeckt? ;-)
Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer! Wenn Ihr rein geht und meint es ist voll, schaut Euch erstmal die ganzen Räumlichkeiten an und ansonsten ganz hinten durch und die Treppe runter in den Keller. Wer etwas feiner essen möchte der geht links vom Haupteingang durch das grüné Eiserne Tor, die goldene Treppe hoch in die 1. Etage zum Hof 18, das etwas feinere Restaurant, auch mit eigener Küche.
PS: Ein kleiner Geheimtipp ist «Das Kapellchen». Vielleicht findet Ihr den Raum…

It still amazes me when I see 1 star reviews by tourists because they didn’t bother to research any of the local customs. No they don’t take credit cards, many places in Germany don’t. If you spend 2 minutes reading any travel site you would find this out. Get some cash!!! Also to stop the beer coming put your coaster on top of your beer. Waiters here are not rude you are just spoiled. Waiting on you hand and foot is not the custom here, get over it princess.
Now that we have that settled. Beer is good as is the food! I enjoyed a pesto pasta with salad and a pretzel. I enjoyed sitting out and people watching. It was close to the DOM and was a great spot for some lunch!

Great Brauhaus, drink the local brew Kölsch ice cold and so good, food is pretty good also not the best but good. Friendly and attentive staff, but very noisy as a Brauhaus usually is !

When in Cologne, drink the Kolsch! This is a really simple beerhall with good quick food and tasty beers. They’re quick on the beer and food which is appreciated.
Had the mushroom soup, pretzels (because I’m a tourist!) and a brat. Food was really good.
The beer was cheap, the food reasonably priced and it was a fun spot to hangout and drink Kolsch. Definitely stop in if you are visiting Cologne!

Geht so: Es ist halt eine Touristenfalle: Zu teuer, zu standard, zu voll.

Of course I had to have Kölsch in Koln… it’s one of those things you can’t NOT do. Enter this gigantic beer hall… You’re welcome!

Si quieres una experiencia 100% alemana, con su comida típica, servida en buenas proporciones, este es un buen lugar a visitar.
Los platos tradicionales son económicos, y tienen un menú amplio. La cerveza es super ligera y pasa como agua.
El lugar es verdaderamente interesante, con varios pisos sobre y bajo tierra, creo que tienen 6 niveles mas la terraza. Y al momento de yo ir TODO estaba ocupado de gente. Es por ende que en este lugar no es un lugar tranquilo para hablar si no mas como un «German Pub», para gritar disfrutar y comer en buenas cantidades.
Vale la pena vivir la experiencia si se esta por Colonia, pero no espere una comida «gourmet».

Sicherlich nicht meine erste wahl wenn es um Kölner Brauhäuser geht. Aber das Kölsch schmeckt gut und zu essen findet man immer etwas.
Was mir als Kölner gewaltig auf den nerv geht ist die permanente Unfreundlich der Köbese. Klar, ist das Tradition und für Touris eine nette Abwechslung, aber wenn ich mal ein Wasser für meine Frau bestelle und werde dann angepammt «E wasser? Mir sinn he in nem Brauhuus, he weet Kölsch jedrunke», gehe ich ab wie né Pershing.

We liked Fruh, it’s massive but cool. Every section feels different. We had some great snacks and enjoyed the beer and people watching. Great place to pop in for sure.

This is more like an underground cave than a restaurant. Its absolutely huge inside. You keep going to a different section as the previous one is full and you find another 20 tables inside another cavern.
We visited here due to Unilocal reviews and to try a traditional German beer house meal. The beer was nice. Kolsh of course. The food was ok. I loved my ½ chicken and chips and the goulash soup was tasty, sadly the apple strudel was pretty tasteless.
All in food wise it was ok. Sadly the staff were a little bit abrupt for me. Just seemed interested in throwing out food as fast as possible and snatching extra tip money at the end of the meal.
Its ok and could be worth a look, but I think they are so used to being successful now that they don’t actually look after the little details anymore

Classic Cologne. A must see for any first-​timer to the city and it’s right around the corner from the Dom (Big Church). Our table turned into a revolving door. Three different sets of Germans dined with us while we downed our 17 2L Kolsch beers. Waiter keeps track of your consumption by ticking a coaster with his pencil. He’ll keep bringing full cups until you place your coaster on top of your glass in a «No MAS» kind of way. Bratwurst is a safe choice but really good. Pretzels are a great starter. This was my second visit and it was just as good as the first.

Felt my stomach grumbling 2 hours before my train arrived, so I googled around for some nearby breweries worthy of a last meal in Cologne and found Cölner Hofbräu Früh.
I ordered bratwurst with fried potatoes and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut was a bit on the sweet side; the bratwurst and potatoes were good, but nothing I would write home about. I enjoyed the Kölsch – honestly, it’s pretty similar to the other types of Kölsch offered by the nearby breweries.
Supposedly the Köbes (waiters) are supposed to provide gruff service and continuously refill your Kölsch glass without your asking, but the Köbe who served me wore a smile on his face and made sure to ask me if I wanted another Kölsch after I downed my glass.
It’s super close to the Dom, so I would definitely recommend coming here for the Cologne brauhaus experience after finishing some sightseeing.

Das Cölner Hofbräu oder auf Kölsch auch einfach «dat Früh» ist wohl das bekannteste Brauhaus Kölns. Leider führt das aber dazu, dass das Früh (besonders in den späteren Stunden) überläuft mit Kegelclubs und Junggesellenabschieden, die von hier aus in den Abend starten… Wenn man sich damit arrangieren kann, gilt aber auch, dass Service und Essen im Früh in der Regel ziemlich gut sind.
Das ist auch das Wichtigste Argument, warum ein Besuch im Früh sich eben doch lohnt: Kühles Bier, gutes Essen und im Sommer vom Biergarten der Blick auf den Heinzelmännchenbrunnen. Für Kölner immer einen Abstecher wert, um sich vom Trubel auf der Hohe Straße zurückzuziehen, für Besucher und Touris ein absolutes Muss!

Quite an experience — this place is HUGE but it feels still personal because it’s broken up into 5 normal-​restaurant-​sized rooms. You can come in wherever you want, sit anywhere available, then fill up on some Kolsch! (And some food too, why not!)
The Kolsch just keeps on coming. They’re tiny, but they’re only 1.80 €, so I guess that works out. And it’s kinda too bad that Kolsch is not the most distinctive lager, but hey, you’re in Cologne — so suck it up and start drinking!
The food was good. Probably the best of the 3 bierhalles we visited in Cologne. We certainly got a LOT and the quality was good. Though certainly no one’s winning any culinary awards at a bierhalle… It’s all standard stuff.
Overall this is a quintessential Cologne experience and probably one worth having. But, you will probably not be blown away by it… It is what it is.

Die Freundlichkeit blieb den ganzen Abend aus, kein Lächeln, kein Danke, nütschtzzzz.
Es arbeiten dort nur Männer ?! Vlt ma n paar nette Mädels ins Team, damit die Herren motivierter sind !!! (Und nicht heimlich die übergebliebenen Kölsch in der Station heimlich trinken müssen, um Ihre mürrischen Kollegen zu ertragen)
Zum Essen: es wäre leckerer gewesen, wäre es warm !

One of the best brautwurst I have had since I arrived. It was perfectly flavored and added with the mustard that is supplied on the table, awesome! One thing however, I was sitting by myself and was approached by two older German ladies who asked if my chairs were free and they invited themselves to sit and eat with me. Not the worst thing in the world, but it would have been nice to enjoy my meal by myself.
Service was excellent and my server once realizing I only spoke English gave me an English menu. Very friendly and always trying to get you to drink more.
Seems like cash only so don’t think you can pay with card or they will make you wash dishes!!! Just kidding about that one. Who knows what they would do.
Overall great food! I would eat here again most definitely!

Das Früh weiß, dass es eine Institution ist. Und macht daraus etwas Gutes: freundlich-​rustikale Köbesse, die alles richtig gut im Blick haben. Und auf «unziemliche» Wünsche mit einer Art humorvollem Entsetzen reagieren. Mir gefällt’s — auch wenn ich tatsächlich gerne einen Capucchino gehabt hätte ;-)
Ein Manko will ich es nicht nennen, denn das Essen sah an den Nebentischen gut aus, aber Reibekuchen würden der Karte gut tun.

Wenn einer eine Reise tut… und dann per Unilocal für seine Kollegen und sich selbst ein Lokal sucht… dann kann er es auch nicht ganz so gut treffen.
Sehr groß, sicherlich sehr authentisch. Essen gut.
Bedienung lahm, unfreundlich, unlustig.
Man hat den Eindruck die denken: Das sind eh nur Touris, die sehe ich nie wieder, da brauch ich mich nicht bemühen.
Aber die Hauptsache ist natürlich das Essen und da waren wir zumindest zufrieden.

It’s a great place and has a great feel. The server was super friendly, attentive, and just all around awesome. I want to be his friend.
I didn’t get to try the food, but the drinks were good and well priced. I’m not a fan of Koelsch *GASP* but their Radler (half beer half… something else) is pretty darn good.
I love the interior. It’s exactly how I would think a typical German pub that serves awesome German dishes would be like.
