very nice! If it is a nice warm summer day you should definitely try this place. There is an amazing view while you have very good food. The food you can get is typical for a «Keller”/Beer garden. You can have the typical cold plates with cheese/​sausages and also warm dishes depends on what they serve that day. They also had salad on the menu. I had the cheese dish called «Obazda» and a «schweizer wurstsalat». I actually wanted to have a half portion of each. I ended up to have more food I could have eat. But it was really good. My son had a warm dish called «Kaiserfleisch with Potatosalad». The taste was really good.
I will definitely come back and enjoy the food while I enjoy the incredible view. You should try it too! As it is typical for places like that you need to get your drink and food yourself which is fine. The people there are very friendly.

Picturesque views of the Bavarian hillside and a shady respite from the heat of the summer sun. The suds were fresh and the bratwurst was amazing.
I’m looking forward to coming back, spending a little more time with a walk between delves into the keller.

Wir waren heute zur Brotzeit am Abend auf dem Keller. Sehr schöner Keller mit tollem Blick auf Buttenheim und sogar bis zur Altenburg nach Bamberg. Schön gepflegter Keller, Bierbänke sehen top gepflegt aus und sind v.a. nicht das typische orange, sondern blau! Getränke– und Essensauswahl super für einen Keller. Kalte Kellergerichte typisch, wie auf jedem anderen Keller (Käse-​, Wurstplatte, Kellerplatte, schweizer Wurstsalat, Ziebeleskäse,…). Warme Speisen immer abwechselnd, heute gab es Sauerbraten, Rindfleisch mit Kren,… SEHR LECKER!!! Preis/​Leistung stimmt hier optimal!!! Wir kommen wieder! Schöner Spielplatz für die Kinder vorhanden!!!
