Novum Style Hotel DAS Berlin Centrum

Die Lage war unweit des U-​Bahnhofes Ernst-​Reuter-​Platz, das Zimmer groß genug für zwei und das Bett auch in Ordnung. Ich fand das Bett nicht zu hart, wie einer der User es hier beschrieb. Alles war sauber und unweit des Hotels gibt es viele Cafés und eine Bäckerei.

Gutes Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis — super Lage um Berlin zu erkunden, gutes Frühstück, barrierefreie, saubere Zimmer.
Einziger Minusstern das Bett. Es war so hart wie eine Streckbank — die Matratze liegt auf keinem Sprungrahmen sondern auf einem Brett.
Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.

My Hot New Find for a good hotel in Berlin! I loved this place because it was reasonably priced, a nice walk to the U or S-​bahn subways, 2 blocks from the bus and you don’t really need to drive. In the Charlottenberg section of Berlin, this hotel offers a full German breakfast (see pix), a nice bed, good modern surroundings, clean, good helpful workers. What’s there not to love? The hotel was clean everywhere you looked. Rooms are smaller by American standards, normal by Euro and Asian standards. There’s a full bar next to reception where you can order drinks, espresso and coffee (cheap coffees).
When Unilocalers mentioned this hotel is not in a good location I was thinking the area would be unsafe. What Unilocalers actually meant was it’s not in the center of Berlin. The hotel is on a street with 4 car dealerships and a University. Then you walk a few minutes for public transportation (I love walking). Well I know not to stay in the City Center of any town because: I don’t like being around tourists, I don’t like American hotels in foreign countries (super expensive), and I like local flava. A similar hotel in the touristy part of Berlin would have costed € 200– € 400 a night. I have friends who picked typical and boring American hotels in the center of Berlin and wanted to leave their hotels when they saw mine. I’d rather spend that money dining and wining. And I did. Ha! Pat on the back for this find William!
Tip: Love the bathrooms with heated towel racks (see website photos), they warm the entire bathroom, a bonus when it’s 25 and snowing outside. The Grohe soothing showerhead was another bonus.
Visits: 1 Definitely my new home base when I return.

Not the greatest location but what a fine establishment and a real value for your money. Professional in every aspects.

This hotel is surprisingly big, since you couldn’t tell of it’s size from the outside. There’s different elevators for different sections of your level. Breakfast isnt included in your stay, it’s 9.90 € per person. The rooms are nice, and the bathrooms are small but clean. There’s a running theme of green and brown colors throughout the hotel lobby and rooms. There’s no parking structure so you will have to park on the streets.
