I should have read the reviews about the ZipJet delivery service before scheduling. They were very, very late without any notification meaning I had to sit and wait in my hotel room for a couple of extra hours until the driver showed up. They also bury the 20 euro minimum charge on the website. They don’t present it during the buying process. It would have been a lot faster and cheaper for me to just go to one of the laundromats nearby. I’ve had much better experiences with similar services in other cities such as Rome and Bucharest.

Ich habe Zipjet wegen der gegenüber der Konkurrenz noch flexibleren Abhol– und Lieferzeiten ausprobiert. Dann aber: Die Abholung erfolgte einen Tag zu spät und die Hemden kamen völlig zerknittert bzw. miserabel gebügelt zurück. Den Kommentaren im Netz nach scheint das kein Einzelfall, sondern eher die Regel zu sein. Nach Reklamation und Fotos der zerknitterten Hemden wurden die Reinigungskosten erstattet, aber das ist bei Nicht-Erbringung der Leistung auch selbstverständlich. Ich bin zurück bei der Konkurrenz mit einem nicht ganz so flexiblen 2-Stunden Abhol– und Lieferzeit-Fenster, dafür aber jedesmal pünktlich und in tip-top Qualität.

Sehr guter Service, ich nutze es fast jede Woche. Mit ein paar Taps über die App kommen die Zipjet Jungs vorbei und holen die dreckige Wäsche aus dem Büro und am nächsten Tag habe ich meine saubere Hemden. Habe auch schon meine andere Wäsche damit machen lassen, lief auch astrein. Nie mehr Wäsche waschen :-)

Awful dry cleaning experience. They picked up and dropped off on time, but the clothing was barely cleaned. I tested the service with a women’s dress shirt, a dress and two sweaters. The dress was not cleaned at all, it seemed to only have been pressed. The shirt had been washed but was pressed in such a way that it had been stretched significantly. One sweater was fine, the other was pressed buttoned, which pulled the fabric badly, though with a hand wash it has since recovered. Truly awful, and I’m probably lucky nothing was damaged. When I complained I was offered 5 € off my next order — I will never use this service again.

Endlich hat die Sucherei nach einer günstigen, schnellen und guten Reinigung für meine Hemden und Anzüge ein Ende. Und das beste daran ist: ich muss dabei nicht einmal die Wohnung verlassen. Ich habe Zipjet zweimal genutzt und bin begeistert, wie zuverlässig und schnell der Service funktioniert. Man kann online ganz einfach die gewünschte Abholzeit bei sich zu Hause raussuchen und am nächsten Tag bereits das Zeitfenster für die Rückgabe, ganz klasse. Kurz bevor der Fahrer kommt, wird eine SMS verschickt und Abholung und Rückgabe haben bestens geklappt. Die Reinigung der Kleidungsstücke war völlig in Ordnung, ich bekam diese sauber und gebügelt zurück. Bei der ersten Abholung übergibt der nette Fahrer einen Kleidersack für die nächste Abholung — echt praktisch. Wirklich überrascht war ich, dass die Reinigung nicht mehr kostet als bei einer günstigen lokalen Reinigung. Ein Hemd kostet gerade mal 1,50 Euro, ein kompletter Anzug 9 Euro.

I suppose I should have read the previous review before wasting my time. Scheduled a pick up to my hotel with all details, phone, room number etc. Waited in the lobby during the scheduled time plus half an hour extra hoping they would show. During the extra half hour I called and emailed to let them know I was still waiting for my laundry to be picked up. I gave up and went up to my room. 15 minutes later I get an email stating that they weren’t going to be able to pick up as they were overbooked today. The rep told me the driver had tried to reach me with no luck. Shameful that they would try to blame it on not reaching me when I am at a public space that is open, has a reception, they have my room number as well as my phone number AND I was waiting in person in the lobby with a bag of laundry! To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. They had audacity to ask if I wanted them to reschedule the pick up for the following day. Sure, let me sit and waste my morning while you again don’t come and provide the service your business is based upon. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. What a joke.

Absolutely terrible experience. They were very late both times, for both pick up and drop off. I can’t wait around all day for them to show up. I was late to a meeting because I was stuck waiting for them, with no warning that they would even be late. Totally inconsiderate. The company has a cool idea, but a very very poor product and laughable service. You’re much better off going to a physical location to have your clothes cleaned.
